Great Day Out in Gallipoli - An incredible day learning about the ANZAC's involvement at the Gallipoli campaign during WW1. Transport: This was on time in a modern, safe and clean vehicle with experienced and courteous drivers. Lunch and Dinner: Lunch was provided, was traditional Turkish food and satisfactory. There was a dinner stop which wasn't provided but the location had a good selection and was cheap. Tour: This was provided by a local company called "Crowded House Tours" and our day was run by a great gentleman called Burak. His English was excellent, even knowing New Zealand and Australian sayings! He brought his own printouts and memorabilia, and his historical knowledge was incredible. Burak really made the tour a truly enjoyable day out. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour!

Awesome Gallipoli Tour - We had one of our best days in Türkiye by joining this tour. We came from Australia and visiting Gallipoli means a lot for my partner. Luckily for us, our guide Burak does not only know about the history, he's obsessed with it! It was such an awesome experience being at all the important places and listening to Burak's information. He made sure we get all the accurate information of what happened back then. He's experienced and we can tell he's spending his time keep learning and digging about it. Oh and he's also cheeky and gets rhe Aussie/Kiwi jokes. Lol The experience is 10 out of 10!

Gallipoli Pilgrimage - Early start but easy pick up. Stopped for breakfast on way. Nice lunch at a restaurant on arrival and then you break up into respective tours. We were really lucky and our guide Baruk spoke excellent English and was an amazing historian who knew so much about the Dardanelles and Gallipoli campaigns. We went to all the key places and sites of battles. Baruk related very personal, moving stories about the soldiers who fought here. He showed amazing historic photos of the campaign and used his phone to show things that made his stories come alive. This was high on my bucket list and Baruk made it special, I knew a lot already but I learned a lot.

A moving experience we will never forget - Very well organised, pick up and drop off in Istanbul went smoothly. We definitely scored the jackpot with our tour guide, Burak, he was amazing. His mix of knowledge and humour made the day thoroughly entertaining. It was a very moving experience and he explained it all so well. We learnt so much more and felt privileged and honoured to walk where the Anzacs did before us. Highly recommend this tour, it’s something we will never forget.

This was an informative,... - This was an informative, detailed tour of the sites of Gallipoli. Our guide, Hasan, had photographs showing the battlefields and we stood in the same places they had been taken. It was a moving experience and I would highly recommend this tour.

Best bucket list experience ever - I booked this tour for my husband (Australian) and a week later he is still talking about it :) it was the highlight of our Istanbul trip for him and he was lucky to get a guide who was right into history and has shown lots of facts unknown before. Great tour, I can definitely recommend!

An in-depth discussion and tour of the Gallipoli campaign and peninsula, as seen from an ANZAC and Turkish perspective. - Our guide, I could * (excuse the spelling), was very knowledgeable and spoke in a very neutral and respectful manner. He seemed very well to understand the gravitas of the area, especially for New Zealand and Australian participants. Aside from this, he gave a brilliant introduction to the lead up to WW1 and a history of Türkiye and why the Gallipoli campaign was important to both sides. We visited at least 6 sites, which were all relevant to the history that I-could was telling. He answered all questions asked of him and gave us clear timelines on how long we had at each site. In terms of the logistics, we had clear communication from the tour providers about where we would be picked up. Even though they couldn't get to our hotel, they said if we could meet at one very close by. The drive to and from Gallipoli is broken up well by a stop halfway, so it doesn't feel too long at all. The lunch is of good quality so don't go too hard on the morning stop with food. Well worth the money and I would recommend this tour to any Kiwi's or Aussies looking to do the trip from Istanbul.

Overall Gallipoli experience was amazing but bus trip needs work - The tour guides understanding of history was excellent. He was able to put you into the picture not take any sides but the facts but also scenarios of what could have happened. I did have problems with the transport. Firstly, my pickup was 30 mins walk from my hotel (early morning and late night) no taxi would take me because it’s 5 mins in a taxi. Secondly, the bus was uncomfortable with short leg space and seats. Thirdly, toilet breaks were approximately every 3.5 hours with is not comfortable. Otherwise the day was good
