- Alcobaca - Leaving the coast, the journey heads to Alcobaça, where the tragic love story of Pedro and Inês de Castro is shared near their magnificent tombs in the Royal Abbey of Santa Maria de Alcobaça, constructed in the 12th century.
- Batalha - The journey continues to the town of Batalha to visit the impressive Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória. Its construction began in 1387, spanned seven reigns, and was never completed. It is one of the seven wonders of Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
