A wonderful experience. - Absolutely wonderful, very exciting show, good dancing and music. As a very special experience, this was well worth the price. We had the premium package, so we had seats right next to the stage. The food was good, maybe not spectacular, but a good selection of what a foreigner would expect at a luau. The staff was friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend this event.

Good food, performance, experience for families - Great event for families. Attended with family of 4 (two teenage daughters). Venue is nice. It's isolated from the hotel, which was good. Food was great and had a wide variety of options. Performance was very well done, singers had good voices, performers were great (especially the fire twirler guy!). Tables held 8 people, so you will sit with strangers, which was fine. They had the right amount of attendee involvement (mainly focused on kids). The only thing that surprised me was that I had to pay for drinks separately. They provided a small non-alcoholic drink when you arrive, but if you want another drink then you had to pay for it.

Fun family luau with great food - We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and performance. The emcee/host has a great voice and exuded warmth. The musicians played professionally for the entire dinner and show. Dancers had several costume changes, and there was great variety from number to number. Great family time. Everything ran smoothly, and there was no point that dragged. Recommended!

A great experience to learn about Hawaiian culture, food and history - We arrived at the Mauna Lani and there were signs leading to the pavilion where the event is held. The staff was helpful, nice and very organized. The food and presentation was excellent! The entertainment was superb. We loved the experience!

Fun Family Luau! - Great Luau been to quite a few and this one hands down had the best food. I wish they had more drink options, but we made due with the Mai Thais. Would recommend for the actual story telling and authentic pig cook in the pit!

Not worth the cost. - The show was very good, but food was nothing to rave about and the process to check in was annoying and not very welcoming. The impression we got was that it was only about the money and was not worth what was paid.

A good luau, but my expectations were not met - This was held at a beautiful setting and the storyteller and performers did a lovely job. It was very interesting hearing the history told in this way. The food was good, particularly the pork, sashimi and meat. We upgraded our seats to premium which put us in the front row, and I’m not sure I would have done this again for the cost. The setting was small and intimate enough that there wasn’t a bad seat. We had the best server, Ghie who was very attentive and wonderful. She went above and beyond caring for us. I would say, this was just ok for us. Traditional luaus seem like a fun thing to do at least once while in Hawaii, it just felt very impersonal and a little too high end for my taste. I didn’t feel the warm feeling I’ve felt from so many people on this island. It was very business like, and it did not meet expectations.

Robbed! - The event was nice however it was a buffet- we did not get Premium seats for this price. We left a Louloulemon jacket behind and “Grace” the employee we spoke with was very rude! I am almost certain an employee is wearing my jacket by now. Rude and unfriendly employees- did not offer a flower lei to us- feel ripped off

Bad taste. - I’m sure the show was wonderful but we cancelled the trip with plenty of notice and were invoiced for it anyway. Tripadvisor is impossible to get in contact with and I don’t know how to get help.
