ORIENTATION: The journey begins with an orientation and introduction at the organization’s hub located above the valley.
TRANSPORT INTO THE VALLEY: The group is then safely transported into the valley.
CULTURAL PROTOCOL & STORYTELLING: At the Ti House beneath Hiʻilawe Falls, hosts greet participants with cultural protocols, history, and moʻolelo (storytelling).
STEWARDSHIP ACTIVITIES: Participants engage in hands-on stewardship activities designed for small groups, including kalo planting, native plant care, invasive species removal, restoration of ancient taro patches, and other mālama ʻāina efforts.
LUNCH: Relish lunch at the Ti House with a view of Hiʻilawe waterfall. (6-hour activity only) An optional local lunch is available for $25.
Refreshments, PPE, and guided 4x4 valley transport are provided.
