- Absolutely unforgettable experience! We booked a tour of Volcanoes National Park and it far exceeded our expectations, thanks to our incredible guide, Kawika. From the moment we met him, Kawika’s passion for Hawaii’s natural wonders was obvious—his stories brought the islands and their volcanic history to life in such a fascinating way. Kawika’s knowledge of the geology, wildlife, and Hawaiian culture was truly impressive. He patiently answered all our questions and shared insights that you couldn’t find in any guidebook. Whether explaining the science behind lava flows or sharing local legends, he made every stop along the way fun and memorable. The itinerary was thoughtfully paced, allowing us time to soak in the breathtaking landscapes, steam vents, lush rainforests, and epic views of the caldera. We especially appreciated the small touches and local tips Kawika offered throughout the day. If you’re visiting the Big Island, don’t miss this tour—and if you can, request Kawika as your guide! Thanks for a magical and educational adventure. Highly recommended!

Great Experience - This trip was fantastic all the way around. The pick up location was good and the timing was prompt. Paul our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and gave a lot of great information, stories and history all throughout which was really cool and made the time fly by. We got to see quite a few things and Paul kept us on schedule but in a polite/also giving plenty of grace and space for time for photos, making sure everyone got to see things and he even gave suggestions on some good food spots in the areas and good photo opportunities. He made sure everyone was accounted for, having a good time and getting back to their locations safely.

An Amazing Experience - We had an amazing time. It was a long day but totally worth it. If I had to do it again I would put in at the front of our trip instead of the end. Incase we wanted to revisit a place for longer. David was an amazing guide and driver. It really made us fall in love with the Hawaii Islands even more than we already were. Erica and Jon

Volcano tour. - Paul was a great guide. Long trip though. The restaurant Kīlauea Lodge was not so great. Food was mediocre. Black sands beach was magical.

Whirlwind Volcano and Island Tour - Derek was a fantastic guide on a fantastic tour. The tour covers a lot of ground. The coffee farm for lunch was nice, and sampling coffee was great (no tour of trees or anything). The bakery was another nice stop, but nothing miraculous. The Black Sand Beach was very unique and should be seen. Volcano National Park was amazing. We got to see and experience enough that it made the trip. Steam vents, caldera, Volcano House, dinner at the lodge, and walking through the lava tube were perfect. It is a long day, and a lot of driving, but it very much is a fantastic way to experience all of that, without driving, and in a single day. I like tours like this as it is a fun and effective way of discovering what I want to do on my own on the next day or on another trip. Derek is a great guide.

An overall island experience - The trip was wonderful. Our driver/guide Kawika (excuse me please if spelling incorrect, but you know who you are), was a very informative host and we see .much of the island with this tour. If we had did our own thing we would have not seen or learnt what we did.

Volcano tour. - It was a well arranged tour. We went to a coffee farm, bakery, black sand beach, volcano and dinner at Kīlauea house. Unfortunately the weather was really bad, that at black sand beach we did not sea the turtles and the worst was it started raining and the volcano was just puffing. Paul was a great tour guide, excellent driving and professional. The phone receptionists were awful, the phone constantly cut off and we couldn’t understand them. They were unfamiliar of the tour and seemed like they were just reading a script. Their accent were so heavy it was hard to understand. They did not explain our requests. Other than that I would recommend this tour.
