Great day of whale watching! - Absolutely a 5 star experience!! Naturalist Pam and Captain Shane gave us such a great day of whale watching. We did the fast boat and have no regrets. They are in communication with other boats in the water so they knew where to be to see the whales and dolphins. 10/10 I recommend!

The Whale watch was awesome. - The Whale watch was awesome. We saw about 7 whales including a Mom, her baby and their male escort. We saw a juvenile whale and two whale ride up close to the boat which I think was a rare sighting. Amy and Dennis our driver and guide were awesome.

See Whales the Fun Way! - The whales gathered for Captain Amy and Naturalist Dennis. We saw many whales (more than 6) as well as dolphins on a perfect sunny, calm day and we learned a lot about them. The Apollo is very fast and comfortable on a calm day. The crew was excellent. Check the weather first then go and have fun!

Got mugged by a whale - Had the best ever whale watch trip with Hawaiian Adventures. A friendly Humpback mugged our boat and stayed with us for well over an hour. Got lots of great underwater video on a 360 degree camera of its friendly and curious behavior. Thank you Andrew, Olivia, and Falcor for such an amazing trip🤙🏼😎🤙🏼

Disappointing short outing - We signed up for a private whale watch tour of 2.5-3 hours. The captain and guide were professional and competent at the onset. Rough weather and rain required that we zoom through to the other side of a squall to go towards where the Humpbacks are known to gather. However when we reached that point they decided that we needed to head back to the port, back through the rough weather. The unfortunate part was that they simply brought us back to port before the end of the paid duration and said that the tour was over. Other boats seemed to still be out. They offered us to go on a later group tour that day but we could not. Our main complaint was their lack of communication towards the end (not very professional nor courteous) and we thought perhaps they lacked local experience (since other boats seemed to be out seeing animals). Perhaps they need more experience in this local setting? Overall, we were disappointed partly due to weather but also due to how they dealt with the situation.
