As you enter Honokohau Harbor, continue straight, do not turn right. Continue straight to the end of the road and on the right you will see a gravel lot to park and our sign at Outer Basin Slip #39, vessel "Honi Olani".

The caption (Micheal) and... - The caption (Micheal) and crew were amazing. Very knowledgable. And just all around great people. One of the best adventures we booked. We would definitely do this again if we return here.

It was an amazing experience! - The crew and captain (Nicole and Keith) were knowledgeable, helpful, caring, safety conscious and friendly. The only downside was the excursion was advertised as Hawaiian sea turtles, so we thought we would be taken to a location where sea turtles would be, yet that was not the case. Regardless, of no turtles, the trip was amazing and well worth going. Thank you!!!

Don’t miss this on Kona - The Captain and crew take wonderful care from start to finish! Saw lots of fish and boat trip was amazing. Drinks, chips and sandwiches hit the spot. Price was very reasonable and uber got us from ship to tour and back.

Great Trip - The host and captain were great. The host took us to some great spots where we saw plenty of fish and even some whales.

Overpromise and Under Deliver. Boring Snorkeling and no turtles. - Captain Mike was a great captain and the crew was phenomenal! Col boat however honestly the snorkeling was boring and subpar. It’s like they took us to the same place as the people scuba diving, we saw some fish however zero sea turtles and this should not be marketed as such. I also asked for a gluten free meal and they gave us sandwiches. They had minimal beverages and the meal choice was not up to snuff. We give this a 3 out of 5 stars and will be asking for a refund.

… a fisherman’s net … - It was a beautiful day to embark on this tour. Following a recent storm, debris was under the water’s surface. Through no fault of Capt. Michael, the propeller became entangled in a large fisherman’s net. Co-captain, Nicole, was in the water and expertly and quickly cut the net free. It was huge to see once it was in the boat. The entanglement blew out one of the engines so we skipped the snorkeling and headed back to the marina. Luckily, it was a beautiful day for a catamaran tour of the coast. Michael and Nicole handled a stressful situation with calm and kept the customers informed.

Frustrating - Frustrating experience - captain michael was lovely but put in a very awkward position - we arrived and no crew showed up so we waited around while they tried to figure it out - ended up wasting an entire day for us and we didn’t get to go out after all - turns out we were only 3 signed up so perhaps they didn’t want to take o my 3 out - which I get but they could have cancelled it earlier so we could have pivoted and done something else - didn’t seem well planned out. They did call - about 40 minutes after the tour was supposed to start - to finally cancel.
