Once in a lifetime - We went with family and friends. The location is in a beautiful private scenic space looking up at the falls. The options for swimming, paddle boarding and canoeing provided variety amongst the group to fit each of our vibes. The staff were friendly and kind. It provided us with a once in a lifetime experience. We are so grateful to have been allowed access to this one of a kind location.

Wonderful! - Absolutely beautiful. The grounds were immaculate, the waterfalls were beautiful we were able to swim and had the whole area to ourselves for a part of the swim then were joined by a family with 3 kids who swam. I wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend to anyone. We had a fabulous time. The staff was also very nice. Was a great day.

One of our favorite activities.. private waterfall! - It was our first time on the big island and with so many activities to choose from, we are so glad that we chose this! It’s a close drive to Akaka Falls. It was a perfect secluded area and felt like a private waterfall just for us to enjoy. There was one other family there. The team was very welcoming and everything was very easy to navigate. The views were breathtaking and we got lucky enough that weather and conditions allowed us to swim in the water.. 10/10 experience! Will do again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a private waterfall oasis to swim, paddleboard, kayak and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Fun Day at the Falls - The falls were really relaxing. Everyone enjoyed including the children. There were many opportunities for pictures. We only wish we had packed a lunch to sit and enjoy after the day of exploring.

Amazing! - The scenery was amazing, and we got to swim around the waterfall, which was so fun. I highly recommend it, or anyone who can hike 1/2 mile on a grassy path.

Something for everyone - My wife and her sister swam at the falls. My son, his wife, and my brother in law enjoyed the trails. My mobility issues kept me at the lodge where I spent the day painting watercolors.

Kulaniapia Falls - The views were amazing! We went first thing in the morning and we were the only ones there. I couldn’t believe it! Unfortunately it rained before we got there and we couldn’t swim or kayak that day. But we’re were already expecting that. We were given a refund on the kayaks right away. It was fine that we couldn’t swim in the water though because the area was just stunning. We stayed for a few hours and just enjoyed everything. We will be coming back again closer to summer to enjoy it again. It was extremely easy to get to as well. About a 10 minute drive to downtown Hilo. The drive up to the falls is equally beautiful there is also a little farm right before you get to the waterfall that has a gift shop. The photos I posted don’t due the waterfall justice.

Up Close and personal Waterfall experience! - Beautiful grounds and very nice staff. We just did the day pass…. Did not stay there. The water was murky and chilly…. Which most waterfalls are like that! Easy access, walking paths to waterfall and gardens are well maintained. They also allowed us to use their patio for eating our lunch and it had a wonderful view too! Very clean bathrooms with showers!
