Experience the stunning lights of Kona aboard our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by an unforgettable adventure—night snorkeling with the magnificent manta rays! Upon arrival, enjoy a comprehensive introduction to these fascinating ocean creatures. Join our professional and certified guides in the water to snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). We provide snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits, and swim noodles. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa are included.
Guests can also purchase beer, wine, and cocktails from our fully stocked bar.
- Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
- Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat
- Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 30 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Beach Kona Hotel. Our address is 75-5660 Palani Road, Suite C8, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
- We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.
- PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
- Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers or that do not know how to snorkel
- Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
- Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
- Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

Amazing - A must do when in Kona. Incredible to have these amazing creatures so close to you and Kona Style took care of everything and everyone.

Magical!! - I've wintered in Kona for almost 30 years and have done many kinds of adventures/excursions. The top of my list has been stargazing on Mauna Kea on a clear night, but seeing the mantas at night ranks right up there. Even though I was only a "ride along" and didn't go into the water it was awe inspiring to see these magical creatures up close. The crew of the Kona Style sailing was knowledgable, informative, friendly and fun. I'd recommend this trip to anyone!

Two Fantastic Trips with Kona Style - We did both the Sunset Cruise / Manta Ray Night Snorkel and the Captain Cook morning snorkel with Kona Style and both were fantastic. The crew was very professional and got in the water on both trips to make sure everyone was comfortable. On the Sunset Cruise and Manta Ray Snorkel, we started the trip by seeing a momma whale and her new calf constantly breaching the water. Then we had 5 manta rays doing continuous belly rolls inches away.

Awesome Adventure - We had such an amazing time! The crew was fantastic, fun and so knowledgeable. Helpful and kind. My mom needed extra assistance and three were right there to give it the entire time. Awesome experience! If you are looking for the best tour, look no further, Kona Style is it!

Super amazing experience! - Loved this experience so much, we got to see so many manta rays and other sea life, and the crew was amazing at making sure we were safe and having a good time! Shout out to Micah for always making sure we were well taken care of in and out of the water, and also loved hearing his jokes and fun facts while in the water!! Had an amazing time and would definitely recommend :)
