1.5 hour Cloud Forest Sanctuary tour - I learned so much about the cloud forest sanctuary - so much information about the flora & fauna. The tour was really interesting, and the guide was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I so enjoyed the experience.

Incredible experience, thank you Bri! - Kona Cloud Forest is a MUST visit for anyone traveling to Kona! My family was able to take the Pantropical tour and then have a Sound Bath Experience afterwards. We highly recommend this trip. We learned so much about the forest and the importance of conservation efforts on our tour. Our tour guide Bri was absolutely incredible. She shared so much of her knowledge with us and her passion for the forest and environmental conservation was infectious. Her energy was very welcoming and we are so grateful to her for sharing that with us. The tour itself is beautiful. The trail is well maintained and the walking sticks that were provided were very helpful. Definitely wear shoes that are comfortable for hiking. The sound bath was truly incredible. It brings you closer to the forest and was a highlight of our trip. We met some of the family members of the founder, who are stewards of the forest and were so inspired by their passion and dedication to the forest. Everyone we met at the forest was welcoming, dedicated, and incredibly kind. My family throughly enjoyed this experience and we are so grateful that we were able to have the opportunity to visit and learn about the Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary. We highly recommend it!

Informative Tour - My husband and I had a great time on a very educational tour. We wanted to see all the different aspects of the island and this was a great way to learn about the Cloud Sanctuary. The guide was very knowledgeable, patient, kind and energetic.

Forest Bathing in the Cloud Forest refreshes and grounds you - Loved the Forest Bathing experience. Brooke was lovely and we all enjoyed her shining calm spirit. She helped us to experience the forest in new and interesting ways while teaching us about her family’s history there and the landscape. Take this if you want to slowly walk and soak everything in through your senses. We all left refreshed, and with a few things created by family members or locals from the gift store.

Perfect way to spend a few hours - What a fantastic experience! The tour guide (Daniel) was very knowledgeable and passionate about the flora and history of the cloud forest. The tour was just the right amount of time for us and gave us a great insight into the efforts to bring back the native species. Would heartily recommend to others.

Good Experience - The positive elements were (i) small group size (8), more time than scheduled (2 hours versus 1.5), and a very interesting place to visit. However, we felt our guide was too "touchy-feely" about the forest - a bit of that would have been fine, with more about the history and evolution of the project, its scope, and so forth, very little of which we had shared with us. As advertised, the terrain was rugged in terms of roots and lava rock, so if you are mobility-challenged at all, be careful. Bamboo walking sticks were provided and were a great help.
