Walking through the Thurston Lava Tube was an unforgettable experience, akin to navigating the hidden breaks of a secret surf spot. As the day unfolded, we made stops at a local bakery and candy store, each offering a taste of the island’s unique flavors. The final stop was Rainbow Falls, a majestic waterfall that cascaded into the Wailuku River below. The sight of the water plunging over the natural lava cave was mesmerizing, a fitting end to a day filled with natural wonders.
