• Honokaa - Experience a guided horseback tour through a traditional Hawaiian Ahupua’a. The journey starts at WOH Ranch, a functioning livestock ranch and farm, offering exclusive views of the captivating Hamakua. This picturesque tour traverses a traditional land division (Ahupua’a) extending from the mountains to the ocean, home to native plants and wildlife. The surrounding gardens flourish with life as you travel past fishponds teeming with Hamakua sunfish. You’ll encounter dwarf coconuts, breadfruit trees, kukui nut, sugar cane, taro, sweet potatoes, and various heirloom bananas before riding alongside the historic Hamakua ditch. The WOH Ranch Tour heads towards the ocean, where you can taste the salty breeze and hear the waves crashing against the cliffs as you ride under a canopy of ironwood trees near remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements. At the ocean, take a moment to relax and admire the breathtaking Hamakua coastline. On a clear day, Maui is visible!
