Cooking, culinary secrets and good company. - Very good experience. In addition to the final product of the course (pintxos), we take several tips and secrets to apply in any dish. Mikel is a great host, not just a teacher, he has many stories to season the experience.

Peter - Excellent experience. Mikel's a crack. A great teacher and good conversationalist, very generous with his recipes and knowledge. Not only did we learn from pintxos but from tips we didn’t know in the kitchen. It is an excellent host, the spectacular place. We had a great time.

Amazing cooking experience - What an amazing pinxtos class! Mikel is a fantastic host and chef- was great to hear about his travels and career along the way. Lovely food, beautiful kitchen. We stayed after for some drinks recommended by Irene as well. Top location, top ambiance and wonderful food. Totally recommend it!

We loved it - We had a really good time learning the art of the pintxo with Mikel. A very lively cooking class in a beautiful setting and delicious wines, cold cuts and cheeses. My teenage kids enjoyed it just as much as I did. Would do it again!

Great Experience - Wonderful four hours of cooking, laughing, drinking wine and eating delicious food. Mikel was entertaining and informative. We throughly enjoying his cooking class. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about Basque food, wine and culture.

Fun with an experienced chef... - It was really informative to learn from an experienced chef. And, Mikel provided a lot of history about the Basque region and food. Plus there was lots to eat and drink. It was fun and I didn't mind being solo. I would definitely do this again.

Best Cooking Class Ever!! - I would highly recommend this class! Mikel fostered a positive and fun atmosphere. He was super funny and personable. We also learned a ton about Basque history and culture and the pintxos and dessert we made was phenomenal. A must do if visiting Bilbao!

workshop without work - Michael was a very self-righteous cook. He thought he was great and told a lot about his life. For us, the cooking course involved: Peel 1 potato, peel 2 eggs, clean mushrooms and one of us 5 was allowed to turn the mushrooms in the pan. Peel shrimp and string it on a stick! The wine glasses were richly filled by the very nice Tippie Wan, but the cooking was really nothing. Too bad for this money!
