The adventure starts at the extraordinary Hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, famously known as “Dragonstone” from the Game of Thrones series. This magical location is accessed by ascending 241 steps nestled between the sea and rocks, providing breathtaking views of the Basque coast.

Following this, the tour proceeds to Mundaka, a delightful fishing village situated in the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Renowned for its legendary left-hand wave that draws surfers from around the globe, Mundaka also enchants visitors with its rich maritime history.

The tour wraps up with a visit to Guernica, where you can discover the iconic Tree of Gernica, wander through historically significant areas, and learn about the events of the bombing that inspired Picasso’s famous mural.

On days with an orange alert and to avoid health incidents, it is advised not to hike up to the San Juan de Gaztelugatxe hermitage during the affected hours. In any case, it is recommended to take self-protection measures, such as wearing comfortable and suitable footwear, protecting yourself from the sun, and staying properly hydrated.
