- Irun - On this tour from Bilbao, participants will visit a family-run Idiazabal cheese maker. This cheese, crafted from sheep’s milk, is exclusively produced in the Basque Country. The experience is engaging, lively, and interactive, showcasing the entire cheese-making process and, weather permitting, the shepherd dog working with the sheep. Ideal for cheese enthusiasts and children!
The day will conclude with a delightful cheese tasting paired with local cider or wine in a picturesque txoko (the Basque communal lounge) with views of the sheep, mountains, and valleys.

Our comprehensive day tour covers historic San Sebastian’s Old Town, the beautiful La Concha Beach, and the stunning sculpture, ‘The Comb of The Wind’.
We will explore a multiple award-winning cheese farm, where you get to sample a variety of cheeses and observe their production process. Unique to Basque country is the production of Idiazabal Cheese (The Spanish equivalent of Parmesan), made from the Oveja Latxa sheep breed. The farm also features a shop, if you’d like to take some cheese back home.
Our focus is on facilitating personal and flexible tours for smaller groups.
