Great discover of local wines - Irene was a great host ! She is a wine passionnate and provides great explanations, tips and advice for a better understanding of the local wine produced in the region. Wines were amazing ! I truly recommend !

Wonderful wines and a great sommelier! - Good value both for the drinks and the sommelier.
Irene is very knowledgeable and engaging and we came away feeling we had learned a great deal about these delicious Basque wines.
Pairing the wines with local cheeses and meats added an extra dimension to the experience.
The atmosphere was great fun and we were lucky to be with just one other couple so the atmosphere was intimate and fun throughout.
At the end of Irene’s session we were able to stay in the room and continue drinking the remains of the wines and chat.
A really good experience overall and one we would highly recommend.

Top Shelf Bilbao Sommelier - Great sommelier that focused on the Basque region - both Spain and France wines, explaining the varitals as well as the difference between txakoli from Bilboa compared to San Sebastian wine. Great education and history provided. Wines selected were top shelf and very pleased

Excellent wine tasting - Great wine tasting experience! Irene was so knowledgeable and had great enthusiasm and energy in explaining the different wines. The pairing with different cheeses and charcuterie was excellent. Would highly recommend this experience.

Highly recommend this wine tasting - We were treated to a wonderful history and geography lesson that lent depth to our wine tasting, Our host, Irene, is a high level sommelier. She guided our tasting of several lovely wines—mostly a variety of Txokoli wines. The wines were top notch. They were accompanied by a variety of locally produced cheeses and meats. This tasting has proved valuable as my husband and I have used the information about these wines throughout our continued travels through the Basque region. There were only three guests at this tasting—we two and a woman pilgrim from the Netherlands. It was a very nice evening.

Great opportunity to explore Basque wines - A well curated and interesting wine tasting experience. My daughter and I really enjoyed the selection of both red and white Basque wines included in the tasting. Our guide was very knowledgeable, warm and engaging.

Don’t miss this opportunity - wine & culture- stay for pintas - This is an excellent wine tasting- and more than that, it is an introduction to Basque culture. Our sommelier did an expert job of educating us on each varietal. She gave us tips about buying Spanish wines at home. She explained the local tradition of cider making.
The private room set up for tasting is nicely appointed.
The restaurant offers delicious pintas and excellent wines. We stayed after the tasting for a terrific meal. ( Save room for the cheesecake!)

Good thorough wine... - Good thorough wine tasting tour of five wines - one cava, two whites and two reds - of the local area which had all their own differences and particular textures. All paired with cheeses and cured meats. I was not very knowledgeable on this topic beforehand so I feel it was very much worth my time. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
