Such a cool experience! - Sean was fantastic! So knowledgeable and friendly. Our kids 9-18 LOVED looking for the rocks that reacted to the lights. Our first stop was filled with reactive rocks, the second it took is longer but we found some amazing ones eventually. Our third stop was unlucky. As most of them had been picked already. But Sean kept it fun the whole time. Highly recommend if anyone in your family loves cool rocks. My daughter is still talking about it 3 days later!

Rock the night away - The guide was very nice in informative. Very easy to like and talk to. Had several places that were close to each other so your time wasn’t spent traveling. He brought his dog along which loved all the petting. Found alot of orange glowing minerals which seamed to be the dominant color. Along an abandoned RR bed we did find some deep red rocks that glowed but you had to have your light within 10 inches to tell. I did bring my own UV light but I found out it was the wrong wave length for all the colors. Guide had some to pass out. On amazon get yourself a 365 wave length UV light. The bigger the flashlight the longer it will last. Our provided lights were palm of your hand sized and died in an hour. Im sure he had more for us but we were at the end of the 2 hr tour anyway. Would go with that tour again next time visiting. Did find several glowing scorpions. So cool!

Glowing Experience!! - The Nighttime Fluorescent Rockhounding Tour was a really fun and unique experience. Shawn, our guide, was super knowledgeable and friendly, and he provided all the lights we needed. We visited three different spots to search for glowing rocks, which was a cool adventure in itself. We were a little disappointed that most of what we found were the same types of minerals, but we did spot some scorpions under the lights, which added an extra thrill. What really made the tour special was Shawn himself — he’s a local who runs this on the side, and his down-to-earth approach made it feel personal and authentic. I’d highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for something different to do at night in the area.

Inaugural tour - Before I saw this tour, I didn't know rocks could be fluorescent! The tour guide was knowledgeable about the minerals found in local rocks and soil and the colors were amazing! Came across 3 scorpions!
