Wonderful wineries - Wonderful experience. Great guide. And such beautiful vineyards; Architecturally, scenery - and the wine of course. A nice small group of- felt very intimate, easy and fun. Highly recommend.

great tour with a great guide - Our guide Inaki was terrific, the tour at Marques de Riscal is highly recommended, as well as the wine tasting at Ysios. Very beautiful also is the little scenic village La Guardia, where we had a coffee break. Before heading home there is a nice lunch in a restaurant, that was so nice as well. Go for the tour, it is great, quite expensive but worth the money!

Exceeded Our Expectation! - We had an outstanding experience with this wine tour. It exceeded our expectations. My husband and I have had several wine tours in Spain and in Portugal. This was wonderful. Our tour guide and driver, Anton, was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed our tour and wine tasting at Marquez de Riscal, our tour of the medieval city of LaGuardia, our wine tasting at Ysios, and our delicious lunch in Elciego. We were with a small group of very friendly, fun people. I also want to say Monica San Pedro was wonderful to work with. She made the process very easy. I would highly recommend the Marquez de Riscal and Ysios Wine Tour with lunch!

A wonderful time in rioja - We had a great time on our tour-
Anton was very gracious and very knowledgeable about the region, the culture, and certainly wine-
The two wineries were extremely interesting in their juxtapositions of architecture, approach and tour- in each case the wines were lovely -
We would recommend this tour without reservation!

Five Star Rioja Wine Tour - I joined Anton with 4 other friends on a wine tour to the Rioja region from Bilbao. The experience was top notch from start to finish. Anton has a spiffy 8 passenger Mercedes van with a speaker system that made it easy for even the third row to hear. He spent the entire hour of the trip from Bilbao to Rioja giving us relevant history and wine information
We went to two wineries and tasted 5 wines. One was in a Frank Gehry designed building/hotel rated the best winery in the world in 2024 and the other was a small boutique winery.m with delicious wines that are not sold in the US. The wines were both excellent and there was an opportunity to buy wine if you wished.
We visited the village of LaGuardia in between the wineries. It was a charming medieval village with a clock that comes alive each hour.
After the wine tastings we went to lunch at a nice lunch spot in the village of La Bastida . The food was quite good including delicious Spanish flan.
Then we headed back to Bilbao in the nice van. The tour al together took 9 hours. It was a day well spent. I highly recommend this tour.

The best day trip from Bilbao - Anton was an exceptional guide. He was informative, helpful, engaging. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
The day passed so quickly.
Both vineyards visited were exceptional. The wines were superb and the three course meal delicious.
We saw beautiful Basque countryside, visited stunning walled town and shared the day with 2 interesting passengers from Mexico.
This family of two teenagers and mum and dad had a wonderful day and cannot rate the trip and Anton highly enough.
Don’t just think about doing.
Do it.
You won’t regret.

Great visit We were ver exited because we wanted to visit this two winery and their unique architecture. - This tour gives you the opportunity of visiting two wineries that are ver important and unique specially for their architecture.
Ysios was a breathtaking experience.
Our tour guide and driver, Anton was very nice, explained us many interesting issues. Very friendly and polite.

Wine✅ Food✅ - Our North Coast Wine Tour was amazing! This was not our first time in Spain, but it was our first time on a wine tour in Spain - and Anton took care of everything! The wineries were ‘top of the line’, the lunch in LaGuardia was charming and perfect, and our transportation was comfortable and accommodating!
Anton’s knowledge of wine was extensive. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area! We would definitely book North Coast Tours again! Thank you Anton!
