• Chokramudi Peak - The tour begins at Chokramudi Peak, a distinctive and relatively unexplored location. It ranks among the highest peaks in Munnar, located in the Idukki district of Kerala. At an elevation of approximately 7,200 feet, it stands apart from other hill ranges. This peak offers breathtaking views of the tea plantations, Idukki Dam, and Anamudi Peak.

With its stunning vistas, Chokramudi Peak is situated within the Eravikulam National Park, requiring visitors to complete some formalities with the Forest Department before embarking on the trek. Being part of a national park, the hill is adorned with lush evergreen Shola forests and is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including Nilgiri Tahrs, Gaurs, and Asian Elephants.

• Pothamedu Viewpoint - The tour concludes at Pothamedu Viewpoint, a location in Munnar that exudes refreshing vibes. The scene is set with endless tea plantations, evergreen meadows, and cars cautiously navigating the winding roads below.

This viewpoint provides a panoramic view of Munnar and the surrounding hills, which are adorned with coffee, cardamom, pepper plantations, and tea. Visitors trek through these plantations to reach the vantage point.

The trekking adventure begins at 3:30 pm, starting from a sea level of 1550 meters. The journey takes you through tea plantations, grasslands, forests, and rocky terrains. By 5:45 pm, you’ll reach the halfway point of the mountain to enjoy a stunning sunset. Continuing the trek, you’ll ascend to 1850 meters for breathtaking views of the tea plantations and valleys, where you can enjoy some snacks. The descent takes you through coffee and cardamom plantations, forests, and more tea plantations, concluding at 6:30 pm back at the hotel.

The trek covers a distance of 8 kilometers, showcasing areas such as tea plantations, rocky landscapes, grasslands, coffee plantations, cardamom plantations, and a sunset viewpoint.

The trekking trip includes an entry ticket to the tea plantation, a guide, fruits and snacks, and a water bottle.
