The meeting point for the tour is at Skjol Bistro located just between the famous Geysir hot spring and Gullfoss waterfall. The driving distance from Reykjavik is approximately 1,5 hour so make sure to account for enough driving time.

Perfect and enjoyable - Peter was our guide and we highly reccomend him and the tour who would like to have a 4-5 hours great fun on the glacier with snowmobile….. lot of extra infos and help…. We really enjoyed the time

Amazing guide and experience - Peter was a great guide and the experience was amazing, he explained really good how everything worked and took great pictures of us, also had some hot chocolate at the end which was great 😊

Fun but short - Super fun but very short. Did this as a one time thing to try out snowmobiling and got my adrenaline fix! You arent allowed to roam though and you have to follow the guides along a set path

Amazing! - We had so much fun with the snowmobiling. We were taught how to ride the snowmobile really well, we went fast, and had a blast in the snow! Peter was an awesome guide. Views were gorgeous both on the way up and on the top of the glacier. Highly recommend!

Snowmobiling on glaciers - This was one of the best experience I’ve ever had. Peter was awesome and really let us have fun on the snowmobiles.
We went on a tour for over an hour and got to see different areas of the glacier.
If you’re more advanced, he did not hold you back from really driving the machines.
10/10 would recommend doing this when in Iceland !

One of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had - We had the best time with Snowmobile.is! Peter took us on a crazy adventure, it was exhilarating and fun. He did a great job making sure we all felt safe and also challenged in a great way. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try something different!

Excellent snowmobiling tour! - Wow, where else could you go snowmobiling in July! Went snowmobiling with my husband and 2 adult children with snowmobiles.is. (Part of Artic Adventures)I normally don’t leave reviews but they did a great job. We met our guide (Paul?) who arrived early for pickup. He was polite, knowledgeable and was excellent at explaining details all along the way from pickup to drop off. The monster truck was a new Mercedes and all equipment and snowmobiles were new and in excellent condition. They provided a high quality, very new insulated suit (66 degree north) to put on over our clothes. The gloves, goggles etc were all new and high quality. The gentleman that led the snowmobiles did an excellent job of explaining how everything works and in providing great examples so no one would get hurt. Safely was a top priority. You could tell he had been doing his job for years and he took his job seriously. We enjoyed the snowmobile ride and they tried to maximize our time. This was an excellent tour. TY.

Excellent tour and really... - Excellent tour and really out on the glacier. It took us about 45 minutes to get there but well worth it. The guides were great and taught us how to master the snowmobile. Really enjoyed this.
