Behind the museum complex lies the forest garden, where trees planted by the city’s founder still stand, along with the Cemetery of the Cats.
- Cemitério dos Gatos Edith Gaerthner - Discover the Cemetery of the Cats, established by Edith, the great-niece of the city’s founder Hermann Bruno Otto Blumenau (1819-99). Edith had a deep affection for cats, and when they passed away, they were given a proper burial with a funeral procession. Over time, this site has become a tourist attraction and has been featured in national news.
- Blumenau City Hall - Following this, enjoy a panoramic tour with a 15-minute stop for photographs at the City Hall.

Amazing walk! - Excellent tour. Beautiful city. Guide with excellent knowledge about the history of the city and beautiful places to photograph.

back to the past - It's a very beautiful German city but it's for half a day in the morning it has a place where the colonizer lived and makes beer then the tur take you to lunch to a typical place there a market that is very cheap to eat

Blumenau - Bavaria in the rainforest - Only blumenau is too little - the tour with blumenau and pomerode would have been better for us - the guide was friendly though , the driver drove safely and well

Disappointment with Blumenau - The guide Pedro was wonderful. It was a lesson on the general characteristics of Balneário Camboriú and Blumenau, which was worth the tour. But I was disappointed with the town of Blumenau. I was expecting to see a typically German or European city similar to Gramado. But that expectation was reduced to a place that looked more like a big gallop. What really disappointed me was the town of Blumenau.

Cool but review the season you see! - We left for a tour of the city from Balneário Camboriú to Blumenau on a Saturday. Let's go: fast translation and no intense traffic; guide from the Enterprise we hired very attentive; we went to a store that sells well-known multibrands and was super worth it, Calvin K clothes, reserve, osklen, colcci with prices muuuuuito below the normal! Small store but worth too much to buy there! If I had known earlier, I would have taken more money. Then we went to the herring store and found a waste of time because there are no advantages in relation to the price and Hering is a very specific store, does not like all the audiences. Then we went to meet the town hall, but it could have been faster. Then we had lunch in the German village (self service) - it was cool and worth the lunch. The Mood was on Easter theme and it was super beautiful. We went back to the hotel but I expected a little more from TOUR. I think the city of Blumenau should be really more interesting at the October fest.
