Beautiful, surprising hike with the best guide - Our guide, Victor, was professional, accommodating, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. The scenic hike along the coast was beautiful, and we learned a lot about medicinal plants and the villages south of Puerto Vallarta. After exploring hidden beaches, the water taxi ride back was the perfect, relaxing finish. Victor kept us safe, smiling, and well-fed. Be sure to bring good shoes to protect your feet, plenty of water, and an adventurous spirit. Fortunately, most of the hike was through the shaded jungle. This is easily one of the best-value tours in Puerto Vallarta!

My Perfect Day! - Beautiful hike and Victor was a great guide! Victor knows all about the plants, insects and animals in the area. Expect to hike steep sections of uneven trail with rocks. Tons of rest at the beaches along the way with opportunities for swimming. I really enjoyed our lunch at the end as well. I’m so happy that we got out of the city and got to see the beautiful nature of Puerto Vallarta!

Great experience, Fun for all ages - This was so much fun and a wonderful experience! Our guide, Juan was the best! Very friendly, lots of information about the different areas we visited, and helped the group feel comfortable! The beaches we visited were so beautiful with clear blue water and clean sandy beaches! I suggest bring a backpack to easily carry belongings on the hike and good shoes that can get wet, bring water and snack. Wear swimming clothes. Snacks can be bought at some stops with cash, fresh coconut water and watermelon. The restaurant at the last beach was great as well , with good service! I would do it again and highly rate the tour and Juan! My kids, 11, have already asked to visit the beaches again!

Beautiful and great workout - Great knowledgeable guide Diego and his compadre Adrienne. Super knowledgeable, conscientious of the group and various capabilities. Diego had great history to share and we saw a variety of plants, animals, and of course beautiful beaches. The hike was actually really a good workout and beautiful. A great way to see local sights. In my 20 years of coming to Vallarta this was a hidden gem I am glad I took advantage of

Hidden beaches: unique experience - This was an incredible hike and the beaches were gorgeous. We went in October and it was definitely hot so bring a hat, water (lots), snacks, lots of sunscreen, good sneakers and flip flops for the end. We went with Juan and he was an amazing guide- very knowledgeable about it the area and funny! It was the highlight of our trip. It wasn’t an easy hike, but it was too hard, it was only hard because it was hot. We started the day at 9:30, took a bus for 40 mins then hiked for probably 2 hours stopping at beaches along the way and they were breath taking. We snorkeled at the first beach and saw some great fish. Then we ended at a restaurant a bit later in the day- bring cash to pay for water and drinks along the way. It was such an awesome day- the highlight of our trip.

Victor is the best! - Victor was an amazing host and made this a really awesome experience. He was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out plants, animals, scenery, told us about local lore. He also knew everyone along the way and kept our group clipping right along! Definitely wear hiking boots or very sturdy sandals. Some people in our group had slides or flip flops and it was a little more difficult for them. Bring plenty of water. It’s a fairly strenuous hike for someone who doesn’t hike much. Definitely on the more difficult side of moderate to me. But Victor did it barefoot. lol. Don’t use him as an example. He’s an expert. You won’t be sorry you did it!

Amazing tour guide - I had the best experience with Alex as my guide! He’s a true local who really knows and cares about the land, and that passion made the tour so special. The vibe was great from start to finish relaxed, fun, and full of good energy. The hike and beach exploring were absolutely amazing, and I feel so lucky I got to experience it all with him. Highly recommend booking a tour with Alex if you get the chance!

Tour Guide Alex made this a wonderful experience! - This was a fantastic excursion to hike along the shoreline and get to experience different beaches other than those in front of the resorts in PVR. If you are lucky enough to have Alex as your guide, you are in for a fantastic day. He is extremely positive, energetic, knowledgeable and ensures the entire group is having a fantastic experience!

Fun little scenic ride on... - Fun little scenic ride on bus out to Bocas Tomatolan. Took a water taxi to first beach - you will get in the water and wet. Tevas sandals recommended and shorts over swimsuit. Hike us some scrambling over rocks and narrow spots. Can get slippery in rain. Nice way to see another part of the area and quaint beaches and bar/restaurants at the end. Jungle Juan guide was great.
