Best thing to see and do in Bodo - In my opinion this is definitely the best thing to see and do in Bodo. The picturesque setting that awaits you when you reach the top of the mountain is simply breathtaking. It took me 2.5 hours to do the round trip including 30 minutes in darkness and I’m 61 years old. I was not aware of how long, dangerous and difficult the trek was and was completely unprepared for what awaited me. I made lots of mistakes so I’ll point them out to you all now so you prepare beforehand. Make sure you wear boots, take lots of water and snacks, go early or during the day so you’re finished before dark, don’t travel alone, have your phone fully charged and don’t go if it’s wet or about to rain. If I’d of not met 2 lovely 21 year old Norwegian girls I don’t think I’d of made it back! Being fully prepared will make your trek even more memorable and enjoyable. There’s a lot of very difficult and treacherous places, so you need to have your wits about you and concentrate at all times. What awaits at the top is nature at its most wonderful. From the peak you can see most of the beach and the mountains in the distance, but if you go to the left there’s a little ledge where you see the beach in its entirety but not the mountains as you’re lower down. So do as I did and go to both of them for different angles on your photos and videos. Not to be missed.

Secret Beach - It was a wonderful hike because we went through different landscapes – rocks, forests, and sand – and it led us to a beautiful beach. We managed to get there easily thanks to Ivar, who is always such a great guide and showed us all the hidden trails to reach the most secret parts of the route. I definitely recommend booking this excursion!
