A perfect trip. Impeccable assistance - Everything is perfect. Departure and return on time. The agency assisted us impeccably speeding up check in and boarding. The owner is a magnificent person. Friendly, polite, efficient and helpful. The agency is strategically located 50 meters from the Central Market and 50 from the port. I recommend Pulia Travel to everyone.

Just right - I stayed in Tigaki which was very convenient for beach and amenities. Easy to get bus to Kos town or pick up other transport for trips and sightseeing. Felt very safe, not overly busy. Some nightlife but not all night drinking/ dancing crowd. So if that's what you want this isn't for you. But for a quieter relaxed holiday it's perfect

Do not miss! - Amazing trip! Easy to book, everything was as described, fast and such a worthy experience. Do not miss the chance to do it when in Kos.

Fine, but slower than advertised - Fundamentally the journey got us to and from Bodrum and we appreciated that it was to the port close to the shops and restaurants. From that point of view, this service is recommended. However, beware of the “20 minute” claim; our crossing took double that time and, in any case, was delayed on the way to Bodrum. This caused us no difficulty at all, but it may be a problem for others. For all that, fundamentally booking was easy (though note no Apple Pay) and the experience was fine.

The worst travel experience of my life, ZERO out of Ten - The Route: Kos Island (Greece) to Bodrum (Turkey) If I could rate this ferry company negative stars, I absolutely would. This was hands down the worst travel experience my family and I have ever had — completely chaotic, poorly managed, and downright inhumane. Let me break it down: 🚫 No organization whatsoever – The ferry was delayed by over 40 minutes with zero communication. There’s no schedule they seem to follow, just vibes. ♿ Not accessible at all – If you have mobility issues or are traveling with elderly people or small children, forget it. There are no ramps, no support, and definitely no concern for your safety or comfort. 🥵 No shelter, no fans, no seating – Waiting for the ferry was a nightmare. We stood for nearly an hour in the blazing sun, with no shade, no benches, no fans. My son suffered from heat exhaustion just waiting in line! 👎 Staff are rude and aggressive – The crew shouted at passengers like we were cattle. No respect, no patience, no basic human decency. Disgraceful. ⚠️ Zero explanation of safety procedures – Once on board, there was NO safety briefing. No life jacket instructions, no evacuation plan — nothing. If something went wrong, you’re on your own. 🧱 The ferry itself is falling apart – Inside was filthy, old, and smelled terrible. The air conditioning only worked in a few small areas, the windows were foggy, scratched, and so dirty you couldn’t even see the sea outside. A floating prison. 💸 No refunds or flexibility – If you miss the ferry (even due to their delays!), they don’t offer any refund or rescheduling. You either pay double the price for a new ticket or lose your money completely. It’s basically a scam. This entire journey was physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and completely unacceptable for any standard of travel. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone — not families, not solo travelers, not even backpackers on a budget. We give this experience a hard ZERO out of 10. Avoid at all costs.

Not recommended - We booked with Sea Star Marki the day before. By debit card I paid €33 per person, so for my still underage daughter and me €66. on ferry day we were taken from the queue in the terminal by a uniformed woman, we had not paid the ticket. I had to pay again for a woman with a lot of makeup and platinum blonde dyed hair, even though I had the debit receipt with me. She scolded us and was extremely unfriendly. So we paid for the ride twice! On the ship: The ship is ancient, the armchairs uncomfortable and totally spotty. Due to the nearly 400 people on the boat, you wait almost 1.5 hours at the entry check - in Turkey and again in Kos. You have nothing of the trip to Bodrum, you are just in the waiting area of customs. On a departure at 9.30am in Kos and departure at 4pm in Bodrum we had about 2.5 hours in Bodrum. Bottom line: Sea Star Marki is a cheating club, especially the medieval lady with a lot of Make Ip and platinum blonde dyed hair at the port of Kos! It wasn't until I tried to get the police involved that I got my money back!

AVOID!! Book elsewhere - AVOID!! Worst customer service by this family run corrupt tour operators!! Family of eight with one child under 11 but they charged us full price. When asked at booking why we were charged for a 9yr old when under 11’s go free, they smacked the desk and told me that none of us will travel if I don’t like it! Bullying behaviour!! Worst day out too everyone on the trip to Bodrum moaned because as all we done was queue for 4 hours!!

TERRIBLE PLACE TO VISIT **AVOID** - Don’t bother! Overpriced and the locals rip you off. We got ferry over from Kos for the day & wish we had not bothered. The town centre is overrun with dogs & the prices are ridiculous. We got ripped off €18 euros for 2 coffees!! We couldn’t wait to get back over to Kos. You can’t walk down the street without getting hassled by the shop owners & restaurant owners. Not a pleasant experience. Won’t be going back. What a dump!!!
