A great day walking - A fantastic walk through the jungle and invredible views when we reached the volcano. Swimming at the waterfall was also a highlight.

Highly Recommended! Thanks Ridwan and Iwan - Highly Recommended! I booked the Bogor Volcano and Jungle Trek in late-Jan 2025 after seeing his posts on Facebook. Had a fantastic expereince. Iwan our guide was very friendly and took good care of us. Packed lunch was fantastic (and I am a picky eater!) Felt safe the entire time. Unfortuantey it was rainy season, so couldnt see much. But still had a great time. I would go back again. Thanks Ridwan!!

Superb day trip - Day trip very well organized. Pension Check-out at 6:45 am, arrival at Halimun National Park about 2 hours later. It takes 400 m of elevation gain (trail in the mud, most of the time, bring your walking sticks if you can) before arriving at the solfatara, very impressive. Included in the rate is a good quality lunch box, which you can eat by observing the gas emissions (lots of people on weekends) On the way back, pass through a nice waterfall: if you are lucky, you can observe Javan gibbons, endemic to the island. Guide (Mr Adang)'s explanations are perfect. Congratulations to the driver (Mr Jacky) who then takes you back to your Pension, the road is really well smashed around the park (it looks like in the show "roads of the impossible"), and traffic hell. You return to the Pension tired but happy on this beautiful day (personally, I would not do this hike when it rains)

Bogor vulcano hike - Great guide, great communication through out, amazing sites to see. Would definitely book with Ridwan if I did another trip to Bogor.

Informative and worthwhile tour - Very worthwhile tour. I was able to join a group. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even spoke a few words of German. During the tour he told us a lot about the volcano, Java and Indonesia. Lunch is included in the tour, and they even asked us about our eating habits (vegetarian or vegan) before the tour. We did the tour at the weekend and it was very busy, so I would recommend going during the week when it is supposed to be quieter. The only improvement I would make is that I think they stop at a rather inconvenient point in the rice fields to take photos. There were much nicer places to take a photo on the way to the volcano. But I am sure that if I had asked, it would have been no problem to stop there briefly.

great experience - the hike was wonderful, you will get to see an untouched forests, hot water, amazing nature, waterfalls... everything would be perfect if you are into nature. also ridwan is pretty helpful, he has been a friend more than a tour guide. i would recommend for everyone who likes hiking and pure nature

Amazing Volcano trekking - I had such a great time with Ridwan on his Volcano hike and jungle trekking tour. I can definitely recommend it! He and his driver picked us up early at the hostel and the feeling was good right from the start. The drive to the volcano takes around 2 hours but we stopped along the way where Ridwan explained/ showed things about the local Indonesian life. The hike takes you through a lush, green rainforest. Be aware: it is a rainforest so lots of muddy puddles so your shoes get soaked and dirty, but that is part of the jungle experience. The crater of the volcano is amazing and makes you feel you are on another planet. It is possible to swim in one of the hot springs there, which is a special experience in itself. On the way back we passed the waterfall for some pictures and the option to swim there as well. The most amazing thing is during the whole trip we didn't see any other tourists. These are absolutely beautiful places to visit but without any of the overcrowdedness of most touristy places. Thank you again, Ridwan!

One of a kind experience - Thank you so much to Ridware and friends for an amazing experience during this tour. I went in not knowing much or having any expectations. For someone who love to hike, this was quite demanding hike because we head uphill at certain areas. The best possible situation for testing your willingness to explore through nature. The view at the crater was worth it! Pack an extra pair of clothes if you want to dip in the waters. I felt safe and excited throughout the trip! And Ridwan goes the extra mile when we ask for help. Thankful for his coordination of the tour and I made a new friend to explore the city together! I can't wait to explore more area of Indonesia with his guidance and support!

A lot of hiking - Very nice driver and toruleader, but it is a very tough tour. We walked through the rice fields which was beautiful but it was difficult to walk there. Then we went to 2 waterfalls and to 1 waterfall it was 30 min hiking. After that we would go to a volcano but unfortunately we had to skip it, because there would have to be much longer hiccups. So only do this tour if you can hike for at least 2 hours and are in good condition!
