A truly personal tour! - We took the tour of Candelaria with Juani on our first day in Bogota and what a start to our holiday! Juani started by asking what our interests were so that she could tailor the tour to our liking. We walked through the streets of the Candelaria area where Juani talked us through the history of the people of Bogota and Colombia, explaining both important landmark moments in Colombian history as well as anecdotes of local Bogotanos and their impact on the city and country. She took us for a pit stop at a local cafe where we tasted Colombian coffee as well as cacaos while listening to the coffee history of Colombia. Juani also recommended us places to go for drinks and dinner, her recommendations were spot on! Juani was a fantastic guide and we highly recommend this tour!

Amazing Tour - The tour was great. Andre felt like a friend who was showing us around. The tour was very personal and we learned a lot. We also loved that it wasn’t rushed. We moved at a very comfortable pace. Andre answered all of our questions as well.

Awesome Tours!! - Zebra Tours was really great! My mother and I took two tours- La Candalaria with Aleja and the Salt Cathedral with Vivi. Both guides were awesome- it was like exploring places with extremely knowledgeable friends. Totally worth every penny for tailored private tours. If I am ever in Bogota again (I hope so!) I will 100% book with Zebra again. Thank you- Aleja and Vivi you made the experiences that much more memorable and special.

The heart of our Bogotá experience! - The highlight of our trip! Four of us did a private Candelaria Tour: Hotspots and Hidden Gems with Juani from Zebra Fisgona and it ended up being the heart of our Bogotá trip. I’m not usually one for guided tours, but this wasn’t that. Spending a few hours with Juani felt less like ticking off tourist boxes and more like being welcomed into a city by someone who genuinely loves it, and wants you to love it, too. From the start, Juani had this warmth that immediately made us feel like we were reconnecting with an old friend. She wasn’t just reciting facts or leading us around. She listened, engaged us in conversation, got a feel for who we were, and then seamlessly customized the experience around us. And those “hidden gems”? Not just a marketing phrase. I pride myself on doing research before traveling, but Juani took us to corners of the Candelaria I wouldn’t have found. Places that don’t show up on travel blogs or Instagram just yet, but should because of the stories they carry. There were moments that were touching, exciting, even unexpected- in the best way. I walked away not only knowing more about Colombian culture, but feeling more. It gave me new layers of appreciation I’m still thinking about. Our time in Bogotá wouldn’t have been the same without Juani and the Zebra Fisgona team. Even beyond the tour, her thoughtful restaurant recs and local insights continued to shape our days. This wasn’t just a highlight of our trip, it was the heart of our Bogotá experience.

Like a zebra in a herd of horses, these tours certainly stand out with curiosity and wonder! - We spent two days with Juani of Zebra Fisgona tours on our recent trip to Bogota! All I can say is WOW! She made this city come to life for us. She covered history, she covered the present, she helped us feel Bogota! I booked our group of 8 people for two customized tours. Our first day we toured Mount Monserrate and the Gold Museum. The next day we tour the Candelaria unveiled tour. But it wasn't just the tours that were great. She explained the gastronomy of the area, introducing us to things like hot chocolate with cheese (a must try), amazing pastries, a huge variety of local fruits, and gave us wonderful dining recommendations. Do yourself and favor and book a tour or two or more with Zebra Fisgona (curious Zebra for those who are wondering). Like a zebra in a herd of horses, these tours certainly stand out with curiosity and wonder!

Take tours with this company! I am serious! - What a lovely experience. Aleja walked us around Candelaria and told us about the history of Colombia. It was pouring rain during our tour, but Aleja was so wonderful, it didn't matter. She clearly cares deeply about Colombia and that shone through the stories she told us and the sites we saw. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn about Colombia in a more personal, impactful level. I look forward to taking another tour with her in the future when I return.

Best 2 tours I took in Bogota - I have taken 2 tours with Zebra Fisgona, the Rent a Friend (I chose to go to Paloquemao for fruit tasting) and the La Candelaria walking tour. I took the first tour by myself, but when I mentioned how excellent Aleja was as a tour guide, other friends from our school decided to join me for the walking tour a week later. They were all so impressed - our tour was presented in English, since Aleja is fluent. Her knowledge of her city, country, culture, and local businesses is truly impressive - she answered almost every question with context and enthusiasm. She was willing to accommodate small changes (we arrived starving, and she knew the perfect empanada shop nearby). She negotiates on your behalf with each vendor or company, which makes everything so very easy. The Rent a Friend tour is as just after I arrived, and she provided me with invaluable advice about getting around Bogota. Plus a coffee shop that I fell in love with, where I studied every day (the staff were super patient with my awful Spanish). Unforgettable tours made this an unforgettable trip! And I know when I return, I’m definitely choosing another tour to learn more with Aleja or Juani. Looking forward to the new tour to the Pacific coast and Medellin !!

La Candelaria and much more. - Our tour was Candelaria in the open: Iconic places and hidden gems. Definitely when you have a place you feel more comfortable and the tour becomes much more interesting. All the information and places we visited during the tour were to our liking. Our guide, Juani, was excellent at carrying every detail and making the tour a magical one. 100% recommended.

Unforgettable!! - Our tour was with Juani, as she said herself, our friend from Bogotá. What a wonderful day! We are Brazilians, it was our first morning in Colombia, and it was essential for us to immediately get to know the best of Colombia and Bogotá. A tour with a lot of history, a lot of culture, a lot of typical Bogotá experiences. And most of all, it was SO much fun! Juani has a lot of knowledge and is a sweet person! If we fell in love with Colombia on our trip, that first day with Juani certainly contributed a lot to that! And Aleja was super attentive from the moment we made the reservation online. We recommend a tour with them to anyone who wants to fall completely in love with a real Bogotá! Thanks for the tips and teachings! We wish you much success! ❤️
