Great way to get an introduction to local food - I learned a lot on this tour with Natalia, and enjoyed the experience and conversation. I booked on the group tour, but as I was the only one who booked that day, it turned into a private tour - bonus! I would not have been able to go to all those establishments myself and in 3 hours I ended up with a great sampling of the local specialties. My favorite were the Ajiaco (soup) and hot chocolate (nice balance between bitter and sweet). Can't forget the fig with caramel on local cheese (the cheese offsets the sweet- nice!). Highly recommend this tour and Natalia, the guide.

Great - The tour is amazing! My guide Milena was the best, she treated us like family and helped us taste the best food Bogota has to offer. She allowed us to taste traditional Columbian dishes while explaining how each dish is integral to the Columbian gastronomical experience. II strongly recommended this tour and if you can I suggest you request Milena.

This tour was excellent,... - This tour was excellent, there was heaps of delicious food and I loved being introduced to lots of great local places. Our guide Nat was excited to share her knowledge with the group and had plenty to share beyond the food dishes. They easily catered for vegetarians. A great way to see the La Candelaria area and learn about Bogota.

Perfect delicious Introduction to Old Bogota - Our brilliant kind guide, Luciani, took us through an afternoon of learning, culture and eating. It was perfect; we recieved a wealth of information in conjuction with experience. We had a small group of 4 so by the end of the afternoon we were family! We are in our later 60's so was a lot of food for us, even with the bit of walking between tastings! We were so full but did not want to miss anything!

Great way to start a Bogota holiday - Great introduction to the food of Colombia and also the culture of the country. We had an amazing guide Luciani walk us through the beautiful little streets of Candelaria trying food at 7 different restaurants. So interesting to learn about the history of the food, the history of the city, and the culture. So much food so you want to come with an appetite and you won't need to eat after. There were only 4 in our tour so a lovely intimate group and we all just had a lovely time together. Luciani was a great introduction to the city. I would highly recommend this tour.

Maybe I was on a... - Maybe I was on a different tour than the one that is so highly reviewed 🤔. Our group was too large (14), and our host wasn’t skilled enough to bring us all as one and spent more time on her phone than showing interest in the group. Sadly, we had 8 members arrive late and she was completely distracted by this but when they did finally catch up an hour later, she struggled to integrate them into the group, which isn’t entirely all her fault but there should be a proper plan in place for late comers. The food stops lacked coordination- if we weren’t stood waiting for a table, then we had to wait a while for food. Given this is a daily tour, with planned stops, why conversations can’t be had ahead of time with these establishments is beyond me. This was often awkward and by the 5th stop it was clear some of the group were ready to leave. The order of food was all over the place. Starting with a hot chocolate and bread, then finishing with a soup was strange. I came hungry and although I left full, it was mainly through feeling bloated than being satisfied. The worst part came, when our host (I can’t recall her name), brought us to our last stop, order the food and left before it arrived. She clearly had enough (believe, at this point we all had) but leaving us without actually waiting for the food to arrive, or making sure we knew where we were (the tour was advised as finishing back at the hostel) was rude and not professional. All in all, the worst food tour I have been on and certainly would not recommend based on my experience. Maybe I was just unlucky
