The Highlight to Colombia - This for me was the absolute highlight to my 2 month travel throughout Colombia. From walking through the markets with Liz, picking out what we need to being in her incredible home / kitchen was just such a surreal experience. Liz you are also such a fantastic cook. WOW. Thank you again for looking after me. Whether you are solo like me or in a big group, this could not suit anyone better. Thanks again Liz

Friendly local cooking class Bogota - Liz is very friendly and helpful instructor. We began with a tour of the market where we bought the ingredients. You get to choose 2 appetizers and one main. The food was delicious.

An experience that will stay with me forever - Liz was an amazing host. From the moment we met at the market, she helped my friend and me figure out what ingredients we needed. Then, when it came time to cook, Liz explained everything we had to do, and we had a wonderful time chatting and cooking, just like friends do. Learn in a welcoming and authentic environment - Liz is a kind soul who is a window into traditional Colombian cuisine and modern Colombian society. After learning from Liz and tasting her family recipes, my family enjoyed her arepas, hogao, and patacones more than any restaurant or hotel we experienced. She proudly shared her culinary heritage in a way that one’s aunt or mom may teach rather than a formal culinary class. We loved it. We also enjoyed the procurement of local ingredients at the local market (note: the participant pays—our grocery bill was about $15).

Cooking class with Lizeth - I 100% recommend! - The cooking class with Lizeth was one of the highlights of my stay in Bogotá. She is incredibly kind and welcoming. We did the grocery shopping together, and she carefully walked me through each ingredient and step of the cooking process, sharing helpful tips along the way. She’s such a lovely person!! I would absolutely do it again on my next visit to Bogotá. Truly the best! 🥰

Best booking decision - This was everything we wanted it to be. Lizeth was so welcoming and personable and taught us everything we needed to know. She clearly loves her job and it showed. We enjoyed spending time with her creating a great meal.
If you want an authentic Colombian experience you won’t soon forget do not hesitate to sign up and do this. We had about 36 hours in Bogota and would do this again every time.

Wonderful experience learning about, and cooking, Colombian Food. - I’ve done several cooking classes in various countries and this one was at the top of my experiences. We shopped for the ingredients together then went to the teacher’s home to do the cooking. Her home was very clean and she had all the cooking utensils and pots to make it easy. And the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this class if you want to learn how to cook Columbia food.

Wonderful - The cooking class with Liz was an amazing experience. Liz is a fun and lovely person, so the time flew by. She knew everybody at the market, explained all the fruit we didn't know and taught us little tricks you cannot know from reading a recipe. She also gave us tipps for the city which we really appreciated. As i'm a vegetarian, i was happy to be able to choose the menu in advance. The food was awesome and so colorful, we'll be sure to repeat it at home. Thank you Liz :)

An incredible cooking experience with Liz - My friend and I took a cooking class with Liz, starting with a visit to the local market to pick out fresh ingredients before heading to her home. She was incredibly hospitable and gracious—it truly felt like being welcomed into a friend’s house for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, inspired by her grandmother’s recipes, and honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Liz was great! Lots of... - Liz was great! Lots of fun. In addition to your meal ingredients, make sure to stop for a bottle of wine to drink while you cook and eat!
