Wonderful experience - She was very attentive and adjust the pace to fit our group. We honestly weren’t very well prepared, but thanks to her guidance, we still had a really great experience.
We got lucky with amazing weather, but the trail can be pretty slippery due to the terrain, so a rain jacket and proper hiking shoes are definitely a must.

I highly recommend! - The guide was attentive and kind to guide us through this amazing and unique place in the world. The trail requires a little physical effort and a lot of attention to the effects of altitude.

Great hike! - Andrea was a great guide, fluent in English and did the tour even tho it was just me. Make sure to bring sunscreen and a hat because I got burned even tho it was cloudy!!! And lots of water!!

Must do - Short hike but quick gain in high altitude so be prepared for strenuous effort. However, it's worth it. Since, it's a small group, it was more personal.

Great Day Trip - Guide was great. Scenery was great. Would definitely go again and suggest small and mid size groups for this moderate hike.

Incredible Paramo - Andrea was a great guide through this majestic and challenging land. The landscape was very intriguing. It is quite wet so would recommend both waterproof boots and an extra pair of socks for the ride back. Traffic back to Bogota can be lengthy as well but after such a great hike it felt chill.

Most rewarding and picturesque hike - We arrived at the meeting place and drove for about 45 minutes to a restaurant. The tour guide Andrea told us about out the breakfast options and the itinerary for the day. We arrived at the restaurant and ordered the costilla de res soup with a tinto “coffee”. Our group was small (4) and as we ate we began to get to know one another. Once the meal was completed we all got back in the van and drove another hour to our destination. At the drop off point our guide Andrea notified us that the van could no longer travel further in and we’d commence our climb from that point. By then it had started raining and it was cold. We were glad we had waterproof jackets and tennis. We started the climb to meet up with the National Park guide (his home). There we were able to use the restroom and fix our backpacks ect. Once we were all ready we began the climb. It continued to rain making the road muddy and slippery (not an easy climb). Our tour guide notified us that it takes no more than two hours to get to the top (this was meant for avid hikers). She was extremely patient with us as we climbed and offered words of encouragement throughout the climb. The wind made it that much harder to climb combined with rain it was no easy task but we made it to the top. This has been the most challenging climb in my life and I can honestly say it’s not for the weak of mind or heart. The altitude in itself is already difficult to overcome. I’m glad to say we climbed it and made it to the top. We did take our time and stopped along the way to catch our breath. Guide Andrea was extremely helpful all the way up and down.

Great hike with views - Great tour. My guide, Juan was very knowledgeable and kept cheerful company while hiking the trail into Paramo view points. After I was picked up in the designated spot, we stopped for traditional breakfast (included) before starting the hike. On the way back from the hike, we stopped at a farmer’s house and had yummy arepa and a hot panela drink. Overall, the tour was amazing and it is a must do day trip if you are visiting Bogota.

Just two people with the... - Just two people with the guide and driver. The car was not in a so good condition and road was bumpy. The guide hiked really fast without offering necessary stops. Be aware that the elevation is high like 3500-4000m so one can be out of breath. The breakfast and snack were decent. The scene was amazing though. On the top can be quite windy and cold so be prepared. The hike was quite challenging with a lot of hard steps and muds, so be prepared.
