A great 3+ hour hike with... - A great 3+ hour hike with stunning scenery. Challenging uphill but worth the effort. Juan, our guide, was brilliant. He paced the walk so we were comfortable and told us lots of interesting stuff about the paramo ecosystem, the flora and fauna. We only had two days in Bogota and this trip had been recommended. No regrets!

Amazing!! The views and... - Amazing!! The views and Juan, the hike up was adventures and fun. Juan was knowledgeable and very accommodating of all requests. Would do this again over any museum

Amazing landscape, amazing Guide - Had an amazing time up here today! Juan, our guide, is incredibly chill and knowledgeable. The landscape is amazing and he clearly loves it too. James, our driver, navigated the streets of Bogotá like a pro and was also chill and polite as could be. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Would reccomend to anyone in a heartbeat who has a love for nature and a desire to see such a unique landscape! 10/10

Great experience with Juan! - Beautiful hike up the Sumapaz páramo. Was a 1.5 hr drive from Bogota, and the trek started in a rural area. Got lucky with visibility and weather. Juan was super friendly and knowledgeable!

I had a really lovely... - I had a really lovely time on this tour with Juan, the guide, who was kind and very knowledgeable. The plant life of the Páramo is spectacular and this tour is a good insight into this unique ecosystem. The breakfast was delicious, and the agua de panela and arepa after the hike were the cherry on top. My family is from the Páramo region of Venezuela, so this was a very personal, even spiritual experience. Juan did a wonderful job in guiding the walk and provided thorough context to both the city of Bogotá and the outer areas. I would love to book another tour one day with Juan, and I highly recommend you do so if you want a look at one of the world’s most fascinating ecosystems.

Hiking in one of Colombia's unique ecosystems - This hike takes you to the northern part of Sumapaz Natural Park, via a private path. It allows you to contemplate the Frailejon Valley and pass through different types of forests. Hiking is not difficult in itself but the oxygen level at this altitude is a challenge. It is better to have spent 3 days at altitude (Bogota) before launching.
The organization is very good, efficient transportation, breakfast, snacks and a break with a farmer's family make the experience pleasant. A special mention for our guide who provided us with relevant information about the flora, a good contagious mood and service in English and French.

Wonderful experience - She was very attentive and adjust the pace to fit our group. We honestly weren’t very well prepared, but thanks to her guidance, we still had a really great experience.
We got lucky with amazing weather, but the trail can be pretty slippery due to the terrain, so a rain jacket and proper hiking shoes are definitely a must.

I highly recommend! - The guide was attentive and kind to guide us through this amazing and unique place in the world. The trail requires a little physical effort and a lot of attention to the effects of altitude.

Great hike! - Andrea was a great guide, fluent in English and did the tour even tho it was just me. Make sure to bring sunscreen and a hat because I got burned even tho it was cloudy!!! And lots of water!!
