Arrival Day / City Tour / Firefly Watching

Panglao International Airport - Guests will be picked up from the airport and, if time permits, taken on a direct tour. Alternatively, the tour can be rescheduled to another day to allow more time at the hotel or resort. Guests are welcome to suggest what best suits their schedule. Refer to the next day’s Tour Package for options. This can be done on Day 1 or Day 2.

Tagbilaran - Guests arriving at the Tagbilaran City Seaport will be picked up and can either embark on a tour immediately or schedule it for another day. Guests can adjust the itinerary to allow more time for other activities. Suggestions are welcome to fit their schedule best. Refer to the next day’s Tour Package for options. This can be done on Day 1 or Day 2.

Bohol Island - For morning arrivals, a City Tour in Tagbilaran City will be conducted while waiting for check-in time. At 4 pm, guests will be picked up for firefly watching, either by kayaking or boat.

Chocolate Hills Countryside Tour

Blood Compact Monument - This site commemorates a significant event between the Spanish and Filipino races, represented by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol, respectively. Known as the first Treaty of Friendship, “Sandugo” symbolizes respect and equality. Celebrated annually in July, the Blood Compact Site in Bool District, Tagbilaran City, is a historic symbol of friendship between Spaniards and Filipinos.

Baclayon Church - The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, known as Baclayon Church, is the second oldest stone church in the Philippines. Constructed from coral stones and cemented with egg whites, it features stone edifices added in the 19th century by the Augustinian Recollects. Declared a National Cultural Treasure in 2010, the church’s ornate altar and strategic seaside location reflect the deep devotion of Boholanos to their faith.

Bilar Man-Made Forest - Experience the beauty of nature at the Bohol Man-Made Forest, a 2km stretch of densely planted mahogany trees on the border of Bilar and Loboc towns. Surrounded by naturally grown forests, this peaceful and meditative place offers a cool respite even during hot summer days. Known as the “dark-side” of Bohol, it provides a unique and tranquil experience.

Chocolate Hills Natural Monument - The Chocolate Hills in Bohol are a renowned tourist attraction, famous for their unique and majestic appearance. With over 1,000 symmetrical mounds resembling Hershey’s Kisses, the hills turn a chocolatey brown during the summer, giving them their name.

Tarsier Conservation Area - On Bohol Island, visitors will encounter the adorable tarsier, the world’s oldest living primate. At the Tarsier Sanctuary, these nocturnal creatures can be seen resting on branches. The sanctuary plays a crucial role in conservation, ensuring tarsiers are not kept in captivity, where they suffer greatly.

Loboc River Cruise - A highlight of Bohol’s Countryside Tour, the Loboc River Cruise offers a lunch buffet on a floating restaurant along the serene Loboc River. The cruise, lasting about an hour, starts at the Loay Bridge and travels to Busay Falls before returning. The lunch buffet is available from 11 am to 2 pm, and each boat accommodates 50 to 60 people.

Bohol Habitat Conservation Center - The Simply Butterflies Conservation Center, Bohol’s first butterfly livelihood breeding program, aims to protect butterfly populations through breeding and plant research. The center features a Butterfly Garden with over 60 species of butterflies, a restaurant, and more.
