The best was to see the nature and to see the animals on their home. - This was amazing, we didn’t had expectations, but as soon as we arrived we sow elephants, zebras, a lion on the bushes, ñus, deers, hippopotamus, a leopard on a tree, antílopes this experience was amazing the guide tour was very good, our two day tour was great, the second day we sow a family of lions was amazing. We defined will back, the hotel was very comfy and the food was delicious.

Excellent day! - It was a perfect day! Brian picked us up punctually in a very nice van for a 2 and a half hour drive to the park. Getting there, we got into a big jeep that drove us to see lions, elephants, gnus, giraffes… most of them really close and free in the wild. Lunch was included with a great variety of options. The shops were a plus. We loved our day!

Safari not to be missed! - Spectacular visit! We got to see 4 of the 5 Big Five! The guide (a very nice woman and knowledgeable about animal behavior) made every effort to show us as many animals as possible. Beautiful experience, recommended to everyone!

Excellent One Day Taste of Africa. - This was an incredible experience. We were here for a conference and just had one free day. The company was great to deal with. The driver (Bryan) met us at our hotel at exactly the planned time. 2.5-hour drive to the park in an air-conditioned van. At the park, we transferred to an open truck with another group, so 12 of us in total. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Knew were to find the animals. We saw antelopes, zebras, elephants, giraffes and as a hight light a leopard in a tree. Lunch was excellent, and there were giraffes and zebras grazing behind us. Can't recommend this tour enough.

Amazing day! - My husband and I had an amazing time on the safari. Everything was as promised. Vehicles, drivers, and guides were all top notch. We got an up close view of many different animals and enjoyed a nice lunch which was included. We highly recommend this experience.

Pilanesberg Game Reserve - Large reserve with many animals from the big 5. Never saw the leopards 🐆 Driver to and from was great. Easy to talk to and safe driver. Guide at reserve also good, knowledgeable and friendly. We did the 6 hour tour and we're able to cover a lot of the park. Saw a lot of Zebras, Rhinos. Giraffes, Hippos, a couple of lions etc. Been to 3 reserves in South Africa and liked this one the best.

Full day tour is too much - The animal is not too many..so if you want to joint this tour..full day is too much. Half day tour is more than enough.

Experience overall not worthwhile - If I am to give separate ratings to the staff involved in the tour and to the Pilanesburg National Park experience, I would give the staff (and the tour operator) a 5-star rating and the Park experience itself a 2-star rating. The tour was supposed to last roughly 6 hours including a lunch break, however we ended dropping out after the morning leg of the tour. We spent 3 hours in the jeep but the only animals we were able to see clearly were four zebras, few impalas, two elephants and five giraffes. We 'think' we saw one lion (or maybe more) from a distance, but the view was so hazy and unclear that I wasn't sure what I was looking at. We did see a dead buffalo on the way but I don't count this as part of the Big 5 sightings. Besides the rare sightings of the said Big 5 animals, the park itself looked quite desolate and dry. I was expecting to see a park full of lush vegetation and greenery, instead we saw one in a semi-arid state with dry grasses and bushes, burnt trees, and sparse vegetation. It wasn't the most breathtaking view. While I do understand the safari experience in a natural reserve is different than seeing animals in man-made parks, the whole experience to me was not worthwhile. I am sure it could be different and more enjoyable to other people with a different set of expectations.
