Cooking in Italy - April 2025 - My friend and I had a great time! Irene and her family made us feel like we could cook like Italian Nonnas. Can't wait to try it at home! If you get a chance, take this class! You won't regret it.
The restaurant was amazing as well. Thanks to them for hosting at the last minute.

Pasta-Delight! - This is a class to take, so much knowledge! Irene and Marco were wonderful, their hospitality was superb and the pasta was delicious. This was the best birthday experience in Bologna.

A family affair with pasta - This was such a fun experience!! So authentic and informative- I came away feeling confident that I can actually make homemade pasta. It was a family event for us- and we all liked it. Turns out my husband and daughter might be better at making pasta than I am (lol). I definitely recommend this class.

Authentic and welcoming Bologna experience - Irene and Marco were fantastic hosts! My husband and I had a great time, enjoyed bonding with the other guests, and of course, making and eating delicious homemade pasta! It’s a very casual feel: like being invited into a new friend’s home! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic Bolognese-Italian experience! The event was the highlight of our time in Bologna.
Side note: I recently broke my foot and am in a wheel chair and they were more than accommodating!

Apt - Our instructor was great but the ‘authentic Bologna’ experience involved someone’s flat that smelled of cat pees which was not great.

To do - The teacher is definitely welcoming capable patient and very easygoing. The context perhaps poorly cared for and certainly impactful... But if you take it as a fun experience, it definitely is very positive

Disappointing accommodation - The 'initial kindness and availability of 1 month ago Alessandro, who found us a night to spend with our friends in a studio in the same building, in via Zamboni, turned into strong disappointment entered the 'accommodation.
Dirty walls, small for 4, poorly maintained and not even so spotless.
We also found the taps and gas contactor in the room, on sight but the serious thing is not the aesthetics, but the noise it emitted, even at night.
In the middle of the night to be able to sleep, we had to turn off the tap as it disturbed us too much.
I would add that to make one night we paid much more than our friends who made 2, this requested from the beginning by the owner , as the minimum nights were 2 : to meet us , he reproportioned the single night increasing it
Too bad that our friends had accommodation worthy of the expense and also cute.
Also the directions sent to get to the nearest parking lot were to be updated.
However for 1 night of course you fit.
Just enough cleaning.
Otherwise GREAT location.

It was an incredible... - It was an incredible cheekiness, the hostess did not let us participate. We came to her with very good bikes, for which we could not find a safe parking space with her.(She was in no way helpful for this). After we went back to the hotel by bike and back to her by car (they had informed us about this beforehand of course) she wouldn't let us take part as we were too late. We haven't received payment back from Viator yet
