Amazing tour with Darren. Chef, guide and storyteller. Friendly, fun and unforgettable! - Darren was an amazing guide on our Bologna food tour. As a chef, he knew all the best food and hidden spots, and he brought the city’s history to life in such an engaging way. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience truly unforgettable. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Lynn & Graham - A great experience the only point we would say as it was a Sunday and the traditional pasta making venue was closed we were taken to a fast food pasta store aka McDonalds pasta and it lost the authentic pasta making we were hoping for, the rest was great 👍🍷

Walking, Talking and tasting! - Our walking food tour with Federica was fantastic! We learned so much from her about all the local delicacies and tasted so much. We loved the history and being taken to off the beaten paths as well as to a place where locals have been going for hundreds of years to enjoy the local wines. Along with the tour, we got tons of reccomendations for the rest of our time in Bologna. Well worth booking!

Beautiful tour - A nice tour of the Quadrilatero with great information about the local businesses! Had great food, although perhaps the individuality was a bit lacking! Our guide was very charming U answered all our questions! The tasting of Balsamic Vinegar was definitely a highlight!

Not really authentic. - Valentina, the guide was great. But the locations for the tastings were not particularly authentic. Apart from balsamic tasting. But you don’t need the tour for that, you can always go to the shop and get advice and try it out. The pasta and tigelle were available in fast food or street food stores that looked like a chain or franchise to me. Around the market there are much better locations to try out and the wine is not available from the plastic cup. Too bad, the information Valentina gave was good, but culinary it was not particularly great.

Disappointing experience - For my group of friends it was not what was expected . We could not hear the guide speak most of the time. He mostly looked ahead when speaking and not towards us as the group of people. The impression we got from the description was that there would be a walk through a food market but this did not happen .
