Amazing food, great company and engaging guide! - When I go to a new city, I love to do a food tour to get a better understanding of the place. Mattia was such a fun and engaging tour guide. We saw so much of Bologna while also learning about history AND eating amazing food. You also get to meet other visitors which is so fun. It feels like you’re going around the town with some friends and enjoying food. I love that he keeps the group small so you don’t miss a thing he says and can ask any questions. We ate so much, I could not finish my food lol! Super tasty food, great company and amazing tour guide. Worth the money— if you want to book a tour, this one is it. I would happily go on this tour again.

A great experience - An excellent tour of a small part of the Bolonga food scene. The guide Miatta was so knowledge and passionate about the food Balonga had to offer, showing us small family run pasta factory where all the pasta is made by hand then sold in the shop across the road. Starting with morning coffee, then takto a vino area for local wi e apperitivo with cold meat platters and parmigiana. Then off to lunch with the local tortellini and other pasta for lunch then finishing with geleto. It was just food tour we also found out about the history of the city. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Fantastic and Fun Food Tour! - Absolutely fabulous day with Ricardo! The food tasting itself was fantastic ( the restaurants, food, pasta and wine were amazing!) but Ricardo absolutely made the day! He is a ton of fun and had the group laughing all day. His knowledge of Bologna and the food culture and history was very impressive and we all felt quite enriched by our experience with him. Thank you Ricardo for the memorable day! Highly recommended this tour!

Great experience - A great insight into the local food scene in Bologna plus other areas of interest around the city. Mattia was so passionate about the places we visited from watching the tortellini being made in a small kitchen, then where it was available in the family shop then on to eat in a local restaurant. Great experience and recommended to anyone visiting Bologna.

Perfect combo of food and knowledge - Plenty of yummy food, a charming guide in Mattia, lots of interesting information about the food culture of Bologna. We visited a cafe that roasts their own coffee, we saw pasta being handmade, we visited a salumeria that I wish I could take home to my neighborhood, we had aperitif in a 15th century osteria, a gorgeous pasta lunch, we tasted balsamics and learned what’s what, and ended the day with some excellent gelato.

Perfect food tour to learn and eat!! - Mattia was warm, friendly and knowledgeable about the food and history of Bologna. He was fun and funny, and took us to some very cool places. The osteria was an unusual experiment for us: bring your own food, but you must drink! Cool concept! The walking was easy, our tour mates were lovely, and the food was top notch. Highly recommend!!

Fantasticly delicious tour - What a fun day with Mattia, owner, and small group of 7. We really enjoyed this awesome food tour of Bologna and its specialties. Learned some history and interesting facts along the way, tasted at least 20 items, including very tasty and typical lunch dishes (lasagna, tartollini soup). The highlights were tasting meats and cheeses at oldest osteria, eating real gelato with unique flavours, and tasting modena balsamic vinegar. Definately recommend this tour to anyone who loves food, great company and getting some history and stories from a local.
