Excellent experience! - Roberta was the most wonderful and kind person! She is an excellent chef and so precessional. Her house was absolutely gorgeous and what a treat to be welcomed into her personal kitchen. We were amazed by her talent and her heart warming presence. She was an excellent teacher and was just an incredible person to spend the morning with. She served us delicious wine to pair with the incredible pasta dishes she taught us to make. To top it off she surprised us with home made gelato and preserved cherries native to Bologna. Would 100% recommend.

An absolute delight - We visited the wonderful Rosa during our honeymoon in Bologna and can both honestly say this was the highlight of our trip. We were greeted by Rosa at the door and we didn’t stop smiling and laughing during our stay in her lovely home. Rosa treated us to some amazing pizzas while we chatted and got to know her, then we got down to the serious business of making three different types of pasta, as well as bruschetta - it was all so tasty thanks to her Italian expertise. Once the pasta was cooked we sat and ate it together along with more delicious local Pignoletto wine. We read some of the previous reviews thst said people left feeling like friends and we felt the same way. Rosa was a total delight, we couldn’t fault anything and we would 100% recommend this experience if you come to Bologna.

Joyous pasta-making experience - I booked a pasta-making experience for my partner and I. This was an amazing class and something I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Bologna. Our host Oriana was wonderful, she has a great humour and teaching skills that made the class pass very quickly. In the time we had, we learned how to make 3 different pasta shapes tagliatelle, tagliolini and riccota tortellini. While the dough was proving, we shared glasses of wine as well as stories. The meals we enjoyed while waiting on the proving were flavourful and light. After the pasta proved, Oriana made 3 brilliant meals that accommodated a mix of a vegetarian and a meat eater. It was delicious!! Couldn't have asked for a better host.

Pasta on the terrace. - Maurizio welcomed us warmly and shared his expertise in pasta making with much passion and enthusiasm. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and sitting down to eat the delicious pasta dishes we made together on the terrace was authentic and a good reflection of Bolognese food and hospitality. The sparkling wine served complimented the meal. Grazie Maurizio.

Pasta Making class with Rosa in Bologna. - My husband and I had the pleasure of attending a pasta class with Rosa in Bologna. Our lesson included homemade tagliatelle, gnocchi and tortelloni. Rosa was a wonderful teacher. She was warm, inviting, funny and clearly explained each step in the process. She recorded the lesson and took pictures so I have a record on how to proceed on my own. The resulting lunch was delicious, and we felt as if we left a friend's house by the end. Do not the opportunity to attend one of these classes in the home of the women who haver been cooking the essentials of Italian food for a long time.

Relaxed and competent way to get to know Italian cuisine even better - Roberta welcomed us very friendly at her home. ES everything was already lovingly prepared and she was super responsive to our wishes! We felt very welcome. She guided us through pasta making with patience and competence, and in the end we had 3 different types of pasta to taste. ES was all extremely delicious, uncomplicated and a pleasant evening

Super Special, Warm, Enlightening Experience! - This experience was like no other! We have taken many cooking classes in many places but what makes this truly special is this is in Cesarine's home in Bologna! Celsarine is a warm, knowledgable Italian woman who proudly spreads her knowledge with her guests. We made four different pastas and a dessert and other goodies that she provided all paired with different wines which made for a wonderful day!

Exceptional experience! - My family and I scheduled this pasta class with high hopes and Paola did not disappoint! We entered her lovely home in the center of Bologna and felt welcomed and comfortable. Paola is learning English and had a translator with her who we also loved (thank you Agnese!). We were immediately put to work making tiramisu, pumpkin gnocchi and tagliatelle ragu (although I cut it to thick and it was paparadelle instead haha... it was still amazing). Paola had done quite a bit of preparation so everything was ready for us. She was organized, clean, and kept us all busy. We enjoyed the meal (which was so much food!) at her dining room table and stayed chatting for quite some time, never feeling rushed. It was a wonderful experience that I will not soon forget. We arrived home in the US and my teenagers asked if they could make "Paola's pumpkin gnocchi" this week. Paola was the perfect host and I would love to go back and learn more from her, she has so much knowledge. Paola, we will be back - next time lasagna and pizza dough! Grazie mille!!
