Lovely morning making pasta - Best thing we did while in Bologna! Grace was super friendly and very patient with us. It was really interesting to learn about the different ways to make pasta in different regions. The best part…both pastas were delicious!

Exceptional Homemade Lasagna Class - Having several years in Italy, I was hoping for an authentic experience and Grazia did not disappoint! She welcomed us into her home, was well prepared and gave us a master class in classic lasagna bolognese. The space was set up with stainless steel workspaces and plenty of room. It was very hands on, we made the pasta ourselves in the first part of the class, and she gave us an overview of the meat sauce, as that had to be prepared ahead of time. A workbook of recipes will come via email later. After mixing, kneading and allowing the pasta to rest, we rolled it out, cut it and blanched it before building the layers for a fabulous lasagna. While it finished cooking in the oven, she shared with us history of the region and her family. We enjoyed our lunch with wine, and she also had prepared a light semi-freddo desert, served with homemade limoncello. From start to finish a wonderful experience, and one I would highly recommend. The fact that she accommodates only small groups - today it was just my husband and I, makes it that much more special.

Perfection! - Absolutely fantastic! My partner and I had such a fun time! Memories to last a lifetime. We made tagliatelle with spinach served with ragu, and spinach and ricotta tortellinis. Grazia was the perfect host and teacher who welcomed us in to her beautiful apartment. It was a highlight of our holidays, and we’ll definitely be recreating the dishes at home!

Make Fresh Pasta from Scratch with a Local Culinary Expert - A truly memorable pasta-making experience! Grazia was a gracious and knowledgeable instructor who guided us through making fresh tagliatelle and tortelloni from scratch. She enriched the class with fascinating stories about the history of pasta and wine. For the tagliatelle, we enjoyed a hearty bolognese and a bright pomodoro-mint sauce for our vegetarian guest. The ricotta-filled tortelloni, seasoned with parmesan, nutmeg, and parsley, was served with a sublime sage-butter-curcuma sauce. As is tradition, we shared our handmade meal over a glass of Lambrusco and lively conversation. Highly recommended!

Pasta from scratch with Pastamamma. Make it. Eat it. Be inspired to create your own dishes at home. - A cozy setting for the basics of creating pasta from scratch. A little history, critical information about correct ingredients and hands on creating and eating our creation. Our chef/teacher is warm and patient with a good sense of humor. A favorite day in Bologna. ☺️

Grazia is a true italian lady with heart and soul. Her love for food is obvious, tangible — and simply contagious. - We had a fantastic morning at our Lasagna Masterclass - just my wife, myself, and Grazia. Together, we cooked a lasagna from scratch that was better than any we’ve had so far in restaurants here in Bologna. Even though I’ve been trying to master the “original recipe” from the Accademia Italiana della Cucina for quite some time, I still learned some truly valuable tricks and techniques. If you're looking for a unique experience - homemade lasagna in an authentic Italian home with a true connoisseur of Italian food - found it: Grazia. Beyond all the professional teaching, Grazia was also kind, friendly, and funny, so within just a few minutes, we already felt like we were visiting a friend. Grazia, thank you for having us—we’d love to stay in touch!

Best cooking class ever! - Amazing amazing experience! Grace (and her sweet dog) so excitedly welcomed us into her home to make delicious food. It was just me and my boyfriend, so the experience was very hands on and personalized and the instructor was so kind. We made an amazing tagliatelle bolognese ragú and tortelloni which was then served with wine and a little dessert. This felt way less gimmicky than other cooking experiences I saw and I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is in the area. I felt like I really learned how to make authentic Italian dishes while also having such a great time.
