We are located right on Big Hickory Island in Bonita Springs! There is no physical address to the launch site. Upon your booking Mike will reach out to you personally to share our launch location via Apple Maps and how to find us. We are the Giant trailer with the manatee and dolphin!

Great Day and Kayaking - Our guide, Nick, took my family (5 of us) on a great tour. He had a good size group (we were not on a private tour) and I felt he did a great job interacting with us and sharing about the area and the wildlife. He was very personable and did a nice job overseeing all of us. We had a very good time!

Best Trip - Had the best experience Nick was the most fun tour guide ever. We loved the time on tne sandbar. The kids enjoyed it too which meant the world to us. There 12 and 15. All in all definitely worth it.

Family Memories Made. - Nick and Mike were welcoming from the start. Nick was our guide and rocked it!! He was super knowledgeable and experienced in the area and the wildlife. There was another guide we didn’t catch his name but he was friendly and helpful as well. As a Dad of four, family of 6, I’m always looking for a deal or getting my moneys worth at the very least, and this experience is a family experience we won’t forget!! Definitely worth it 5 stars. Thanks again Mike and Nick!

Super kayak trip - Excellent tandem kayak trip, great guides Buzz and his faithful 4-legged companion GG. We had the chance to see dolphins very ready and relax on the paradise beach with shells. Thanks again to Buzz for his warm service. We loved it and would definitely recommend it. Isa and Jeff

Great experience! Highly Recommend. - The guides were fantastic. We went out with Antonio and Ethan. Mike was also great. They were very helpful throughout and very knowledgeable about the wildlife, Mangroves and some interesting historical facts. Great experience.

Spring break 2025 - We had such a fabulous time with Nick as our tour guide. Our customer service experience from booking until the end was top notch. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Mikes outdoor adventures again!

Beautiful kayak trip! - Buzz and Allison (and canine JJ) were fantastic tour guides! It was a bit early in the season to see manatee but we got to see tons of birds, paddle through beautiful tunnels of mangroves, and do some shelling on a lovely beach that joined up with the Gulf of Mexico. The gear was excellent! We were particularly grateful for the high quality kayaks and the seats with backrests. Highly recommend!

Kayak tour with potential for 5-star experience - On this kayak tour, we took our teenage grandsons and their friends. The meeting site is quite confusing, because there are several tours leaving and tours returning from one small launch site. Additionally, nobody approaches you to ask what tour you are on. You basically need to flag someone down to ask. This process could be much improved. Buzz and his cute dog, JJ were our guides. Buzz is friendly, down to earth and no nonsense. There were six of us in single kayaks, then we were joined by a group of six people in tandem, clear kayaks that are designed more like a boat than a kayak. Add to that, nobody in the group was experienced nor were they physically equipped to kayak. The topper is that we immediately went into the wide channel and rowed against the tide to the small island. We ended up waiting on the island for a 15 minutes or more for Buzz and JJ to go back and get two of the kayaks who fell way behind and then they towed one in. So when we went back out, Buzz towed the one boat, which slowed down the whole process. This is an eco tour, and others we have taken from a nearby location have had guides who keep the group together and talk about the mangroves annd ecological surroundings. That didn’t happen, which was disappointing. But, our group did appreciate the extra efforts Buzz had to take with the inexperienced group. Maybe experience should be taken into consideration for these types of tours. It ended up okay, it was a beautiful day and we had a nice outing with our grandsons and their friends.
