Best Food Tour in Bordeaux - Sylvie was delightful, animated, knowledgeable about the local cuisine, wine making and culture, as well as city history. The food itself is steeped with history. The shops Sylvie brought us to had such an intimate presentation and personal feel. We felt immersed in food culture. The wine tasting at the end was a perfect way to top off the day, share some laughs and toast to a great day in Bordeaux!

A Locally Focused Foodie Tour of Bordeaux - None better! Sylvie was warm, charming and very bright. Unlike many guides, she knew when to go deep and when to go light. She had helpful materials to tell the stories. The foods were fabulous! Chocolatines! Canneles! Chocolates! Cheeses! Bistro lunch! CREAM puffs!!! And, of course, excellent wines. The pace was perfect. Highly recommend!!

Food, wine, history… Great tour! - This was my second Devour food tour, after an excellent experience in Lisbon. This tour includes great spots for lunch, cheese, wine tasting and more. We had a brilliant guide in Alexandra, who was clearly passionate about Bordeaux, including its rich history. Would really recommend this tour! You might even find yourself back at a few of the spots you visit.

Excellent tour. Visited... - Excellent tour. Visited several shops that offered great cheeses, pastries etc. The Canneles (Cassonade Cannelés & Spécialités), Chocolatine (Boulangerie Louis Lamour), chocolates (La Maison Darricau), cheese (Chez Delphine) and les dune blanche where all absolutely amazing. The lunch which was a traditional meal that is offered to french workers. The wine was good as well.

Great way to discover local foods - I was in Bordeaux for a weekend for a friend's wedding so I was looking for a quick way to explore the city and I absolutely love food tours. This was a great way to quickly try different foods I wouldn't have considered otherwise. I ended up returning to the chocolate and cheese place with my friends to pick up some cheese to bring home. The wine tasting was also interesting since it happened in a tiny shop, I wished there was a little more variety there. I'd recommend this tour to anyone interested in trying out what Bordeaux has to offer besides wine.

Lost in Bordeaux - When looking for the location of this tour from the app, it defaulted to the end point and not the starting point which seemed counterintuitive and no directions for the starting point were listed. When I tried to contact the tour operator from the app, I got no response. I then called Viator directly and was put on hold for 19 minutes and told the tour operator would reach out to me later in the day via email. I was told I could rebook my tour but unfortunately nothing was actually available for the remaining time I was in Bordeaux. I’m still waiting to see if I can at least get a credit for another tour at a later time.
