Complete novices - We were interested in learning how to appreciate wine so booked this tour. We found the office easy enough and were warmly greeted. As typical English tourists with very broken French the staff were very accomodating. We took the bus to Medoc and visited two chateaux and a wine shop for three tastings. I now understand a little more about wine, about how high the quality is in this area and how when I buy a £6 bottle in Tesco’s I might be buying very low quality wine but if you like it, you like it. The trip was easily tailored to my million questions, I wasn’t made to feel small or patronised for my lack of knowledge. A really ample lunch which was gorgeous. The level was perfect for us, we had a great day out. I even went home with an expensive bottle (for me) to mature at home and save for an occasion. Lovely

Great Tour with just the right amount of time and stops - We did the tour on a Thursday with Lauren. Unfortunately, she will be returning home to the US west coast soon and will not longer be a guide! I had originally booked a much more expensive tour with another company that has minimum of 4 requirement, which I think they use mainly as a bait and hoom scheme to get people to upgrade to a private tour for more money. When I realized that the minimum wasn't going to be met and that they would not let me know until the day before if the tour was to happen, I asked and received a full refund even though there was a posted penalty. I then found Rustic Vines with a 2 person minimum and am very glad I did. The price was about 1/3 of the other one. The difference was probably a fancier lunch and some higher priced wine chateaux. We made the right choice. I did receive an email the day before asking if we could reshedule for Friday, but since we only had one full day there, we couldn't. A third person (a guy from England) joined us at the last minute and added to the day's entertainment. We found the office and waited about 20 minutes for the tour since we were early. Lauren arrived, got our lunch supplies ready, gave us each water bottles for the day, and we were off. We stopped at a chateau and were given a tour by a guy that looked about 12! He was 20 or so, I think. Afterwards, Lauren had our lunch set up on the grounds at a table. It was meats, breads, and cheeses with wine, of course. We then proceeded to another chateau and had a great tour from a very nice lady. We were there at the right time to see all the grapes hanging on the plants just before harvest time. On our return to Bordeaux we stopped at a wine shop. The prices were much better at the chateaux than at the wine store/souvenir shop. Upon our return to the city, I asked Lauren to drop us off near a tram stop, and we said our goodbyes. Next time we're in Bordeaux, I plan to do another one of their van tours (too old for bikes). It's a good value with great places to see and good wine to drink!

Great wine experience - Highlights of this enjoyable and informative tour was our guide Scott who knew EVERYTHING about wine and was willing to respond to our many questions & the tour of Chateau Hourtin Ducasse, which provided a wonderful view of real wine making with the owner & his son. We also loved the wines and everyone left Chateau Hourtin Ducasse with seem great value wins.

Private and unique - Lauren was a great guide giving the group many facts about Bordeaux wines and the Medoc region. The tour itself was nice in that they limit the group to no more than 8 (we were 6) so it never feels crowded and always has a personal feel. We visited two chateaus and both provided tours and information into their wine making techniques as well as tastings. The highlight was probably the very nice picnic style lunch we were served at one of the chateaus. I am sure there are plenty of options and a lot depends on what wineries you ultimately visit, but thought this was a nice combination.

Best Experience! 2 day Private Tour Médoc and Saint Emillon - Wow! What an amazing 2 day experience!!! Pascaline did a fantastic job organizing and customizing our winery visits. We visited 6 chateaus and one wine shop. We tasted good mix of grand crus. Note: Ordering wine to the states is pretty easy and cost effective. We purchased wine at almost every place we visited! Overall, I would highly recommend booking if you visiting Bordeaux. Thomas our tour guide was super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Bordeaux wine. He truly helped make our visit extra special. I’m dreaming of our next trip back!

Amazing trip through Bordeaux wine country - My wife and I had an amazing time on the Médoc wine tour. Lauren Flynn was our guide and taught us so much about Bordeaux Châteaus. Would recommend to anyone who loves wine, or wants to love wine.

Amazing visit to Margaux & St Julien - My husband and I went on the Medoc tour with Lauren and had such a fun time! Our group visited two Chateaus, a wine shop in Margaux, and stopped off at several other Chateaus for photo ops. We learned so much about the region and wine making and are bringing home several bottles to enjoy in LA! Thank you Lauren and Rustic Vines for an unforgettable time!

Great Tour! - We had the opportunity to travel up to the Medoc with Lauren as our guide. Lauren was an excellent travel guide. She shared here knowledge of wine (recent graduate with a Masters in Wine and Spirits from Kedge Business School in Bordeaux) with us and we got to tour and taste at two Chateaus and in addition, a wine shop where we tasted other wines from local Chateaus. It was a beautiful day in the wine country and we had a great time. I highly recommend Lauren and Rustic Vines!

Amazing Bordeaux winery tour!! - Went on the full day tour of the Medoc region - visited two chateaus and a great wine shop in Margaux. Our tour guide Lindsey was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and the region itself - we learned a ton! Had a great lunch at one of the chateaus with some local meats and cheeses. Overall great day! Will definitely book another tour next time I'm in Bordeaux.
