You will receive personalized attention from your local guide on this small-group tour, limited to eight people.

- The minimum number of people for each tour is 2. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum is not reached and proceed to a full refund.
- Saint Emilion is a quaint, charming little village. This tour includes a 1h guided tour of the town, including some free time for you to roam around as long as the tour leaves Bordeaux on time. Also, you will not be able to fully explore the whole village, as we have strict appointments at each chateau. If you wish to stay longer in the village, you can organize another day trip yourself, as there’s a train station not far from the town center. For any further information about this, please feel free to contact us.
- Unfortunately Saint Emilion village is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us for alternatives.
- We are not providing bottles of water, please bring your own. (water refill available at each winery)

Relaxed, informative,... - Relaxed, informative, with a great guide and fabulous wines. St Emilion was at its picturesque best in the spring sunshine and not too busy.

St Emilion visit - A beautiful afternoon visiting St Emilion. We went to two wineries and taste tested some excellent wine. Our guide Margot was delightful. Overall, highly recommend!

A must do trip when visiting Bordeaux - A must do trip when visiting Bordeaux. Margot was a very attentive and friendly guide who was enthusiastic throughout. Each vineyard we visited was very impressive and the representatives were so knowledgable. We sampled 4 wines at each vineyard that were carefully selected to showcase the vineyard and the differing techniques used to produce the wines.
Time was afforded for us to explore the beautiful town of Saint Emilion which cannot be missed

Well-rounded learning experience with a sommelier as tour guide - Alexander was a very outgoing and knowledgeable tour guide! It was a pleasure having an English-speaking French guide who also happened to start his career as a sommelier. My wife and I enjoyed the two vineyard stops as well as the rapport with our group in the car. We also appreciated Alex’s ability to answer any questions we had about wine or the winemaking process, and Alex made sure that inexperienced wine drinkers like ourselves feel comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Mixed Experience, Beautiful Saint-Émilion - We selected this tour based on strong reviews and had great expectations. While the experience had positive elements, it did not fully align with those expectations. The driver (on his first day) created an engaging atmosphere, but there was limited explanation of the winemaking process and region. The first château was a highlight, with the owner providing a clear and informative presentation. However, the second stop contrasted significantly with what was advertised and shown in prior reviews pictures, it felt more like a very small family operation, with a basic tasting setup and less structured guidance. The medieval town of Saint-Émilion is beautiful and well worth the visit. We also appreciated the group dynamic, which contributed positively to the overall experience.

Wine tour to St Emilion - We enjoyed the visits to the 2 wineries and thought the information provided by the wine makers was very interesting and informative. We sampled 3 very good wines at each winery. However we felt the time spent in the van on the way to and from St. Emilion was a missed opportunity to have further discussions about the region and/or wine in general. We were seated in the back row of the three row minivan both ways. Our guide who was also the driver was very soft spoken and it was very difficult to hear in the back row what she was saying. For the majority of the trip she spoke only to the two other people in the front seat with her. Perhaps some type of microphone system would have helped. During our stop in the village of St Emilion , between wineries, our guide gave us a short history of the area and then we had 45 minutes of free time. We would have preferred a more guided tour of the village. Compared to other tours, we.Compared to other tours we have taken through Viator we did not feel we had good value for the money we paid.
