Beautiful region & Great guide - This is the BEST region so close to Reykjavik! It’s incredibly varied and beautiful. We really enjoyed every single stop and the day passed so quickly! Our guide was great, he even made a special stop so we can take photos of a rainbow. Everything was really smooth, peaceful, and relaxing. Highly recommend this tour!

A Day of Interesting Stories and Rugged Country, - First and foremost, for this part of Iceland, bring layers! I was silly and based my clothing for this tour off my previous tour on the South Coast. This peninsula is not the same. It is epic, rugged and very windy.
Thankfully, our enthusiastic and enigmatic tour guide Slavi, had my back. Literally. Earlier in the tour, he offered me his windbreaker, which made a big difference.
He had a good sense of when to allow us to contemplate the sights we had seen. He also knew when to engage us with a story or two. It was nice blend of historical epics and commentary on modern Icelandic society. I really loved his story about the "Betrayal of the Beserkers."
He was always in high spirits, called us a "team" and kept the schedule tight. At the very end, he offered us a gift of Icelandic candy. But the real gift was his genuine enthusiasm for what he does.
I mean this as the highest praise I can give a tour guide. Slavi is the type of person I'd like to go grab a lamb soup and beer with after the tour has concluded.
Thank you making Snaefellsnes my favourite part of Iceland.

Needs more than 5 stars. - I only wish I could give this more than 5 stars. Slavie was an incredible guide. Super knowledgeable and high energy. He kept the tour punctual and insightful. This trip was a high point on my time in Iceland. Thanks.

Snaefellsnos Day trip - We saw a lot of beautiful scenery, but our guide was disappointing. He didn’t give us any info or the plans of the day. When stopped in Arnarstapi he said it was to eat, we only had 45 minutes and he said nothing about the beautiful sea cliffs. I showed him a picture of what I wanted to see and he sent me in the wrong direction so we had no time to eat. If he had explained earlier in the day, we could have grabbed snacks at another stop. We had two other fabulous guides the two other tours we were on so this was disappointing. He was basically just a driver, not a tour guide.
