Haunted Boston Ghost Tours, LLC holds the distinction of being Boston’s oldest ghost walking tour. Founded by Hillary Kidd in 2005, the company began with her as the sole tour guide and rapidly grew to include over eight guides. The tours aim to reveal the “darker side of Boston’s history” through engaging storytelling. The guides maintain authenticity by avoiding costumes, fake accents, and theatrical elements. “Theatrics aren’t necessary when the stories are compelling,” says owner Hillary Kidd. “We cover a wide range of eerie tales, including ghost stories, haunted sites, murders, the macabre, and even books bound in human skin. We share the ‘other side’ of Boston’s history.”
