Embark on a cruise around Boston Harbor aboard the classic 1920s-style Yacht Northern Lights. Enjoy the comfort of the indoor grand salon or head to the top outdoor deck for expansive views of the Harbor. Noteworthy sights include stunning views of Boston’s skyline, Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument, USS Cassin Young, and the USS Constitution, as well as Boston’s Harbor Islands. Don’t forget your camera! Refreshments and light snacks are available for purchase at the bar with a credit card.
- Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time to check-in at the ticket booth and obtain boarding passes
- Bring a photo ID that matches the name listed on the reservation
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- There is a climate controlled main cabin with seating, a covered upper deck and an open bow
- Infant seats are available if given advance notice

The boat departs from Rowes Wharf, directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at (for GPS) 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston (02110). Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate controlled public space, located on the wharf only steps away from our dock. If guests are lost or running late, please call us at 617-951-2460.

Fun thing to do in Boston - It was a relaxing ride. It was a great way to get a different view of Boston. They even stopped near the USS Constitution, so we could see them shoot the canon off. Drink and food prices were reasonable. The crew and captain were great.

Great Trip! - Was recommend to do this trip by our server at Joes restaurant and so glad we did! We had a really beautiful day for it and the narration was great by Liz we learned a lot about Boston’s history.
There’s restrooms on board which were spotless and there’s also a bar and some snacks available to purchase too. Would recommend for anyone visiting the harbour area!

Excellent Tour!! - This tour was so nice! I booked it for my mom and my aunt. The boat has a nice dining area and bar and the tables on the top are so nice!! I loved this tour and would certainly do it again!!! Very nice harbor tour of Boston islands and skyline!

Smooth Sailing - Small crowd due to high winds and cold temps the day we sailed but the boat was very nice and very clean. The cruise itself was smooth despite the weather. It was great to get a different perspective of Boston including the city skyline and historic ships. There is also a small but well stocked bar and some food options. The crew were all very friendly, with moderate narration throughout. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

Beautiful ship, smooth rode on a very windy day. - Beautiful boat, helpful friendly crew, great bar, relaxing and interesting tour. Worth the money and the time. Comfortable even in the worst weather and great views on deck too when the weather is good.
