Experience a beautiful Boston Harbor sunset sail on the water and see some of the city’s waterfront landmarks as the sun dips below the horizon. This elegant sailing experience will be aboard either Schooner Adirondack III or Adirondack IV. Both sailboats are classically styled schooners and offer a smooth and gentle sailing experience as well as top-notch customer service by our captain and crew. Within minutes of leaving the dock, you’ll forget the distractions of life on land, as you experience the ambiance of a sunset sailing cruise aboard a beautiful sailboat.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years. Coolers and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted
- Dress for the weather - it’s often cooler on the water
- Please let us know in advance if assistance is required for boarding
- Only animals that perform a manual task to assist a person are permitted aboard. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted
- Plan to arrive at the ticket booth 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time. The meeting point is located directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel in the Ferry Terminal just steps away from the dock. Boarding begins 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
- This is not a narrated tour, but the crew is available to answer questions on the sights & landmarks as we sail
- This experience will take place on Schooner Adirondack II or III
- The official route of this experience will depend on the wind

The boat departs from Rowes Wharf, directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston. Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate-controlled public space, only steps away from our dock. If lost or running late, please call us.

Beautiful sail - A beautiful night. The sail was wonderful, though it felt a little crowded for seating, but the staff were fun and engaging and we got beautiful photos of the sunset on the Boston Harbor.

Beautiful experience - The Captain and Crew were amazing. We went to the outer harbor for beautiful views of the Boston skyline and sunset. Sails were set and we enjoyed the breeze and beauty of the inner islands

Highly Recommend - Amazing! The boat was beautiful, plenty of room. The crew was very friendly and informative. We have been to Boston so many times, but we have never done anything like this. It was a beautiful 2 hours on the water.

If you do one thing, make it this!! - We cannot recommend this sail enough! A perfect end to a day in Boston.
Quiet, relaxing, romantic and personable.
Enjoy the water and the views without noise of the sightseeing tours.
The crew was awesome and lead by a female captain.
Bonus-if you enjoy plane spotting like my husband, you will enjoy this sail as it may take you right under the land path.
This is the favorite tour we did while in Boston-five stars!

Sunset and Full Moon over Boston Harbor - The water was smooth. Temp 72°. Crew (Charlie and Claire) were fantastic; the Captain ensured all experienced a lovely evening on the water to watch a beautiful sunset and full moon rise.

Sunset sail for the WIN! - Beautiful, peaceful evening on the Adirondack. The captain and staff were very attentive and fun to talk with. Scheduled this excursion while we had out of state visitors and it really made for a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

This was exactly as... - This was exactly as advertised! It was a beautiful night and a great sunset! The crew was welcoming and personable! They also managed the drink orders with ease! I would recommend this to everyone looking for a boating harbor experience! Not a big commercial feel and way more genuine ! 10/10

Amazing experience! - This was such an amazing experience! The staff were so nice and attentive with drinks and knowledge. The captain was very knowledgeable as well and made sure everyone was having a great time. I will recommend this tour to others so they can enjoy it!!
