Fun and Informative Activity! - Though fairly expensive this is a great thing to do whilst in Boston! All of the drivers where enthusiastic about what they were talking about. I learnt things about the city that I didn’t know before. There are separate route’s including Back Bay, Seaport etc. all of varying lenghts. Busus come once around 10 minutes, however expect to wait longer. I completed this tour on Sunday and me and my family could all easily get seats on every bus! You can book tickets on there website or in one of there stores or stands around the city. All in all a great way to explore the city without walking all day!! Ps: Kid friendly!!!

Super helpful for someone with mobility issues - Great experience. Super helpful to get an overview of the area, hear interesting historical info, & hop on/off as we wanted. For someone with mobility issues, it was really the only way to see all of the freedom trail. Minimal wait times & trolley was never so full that we couldn’t get on. Highly recommend!

Good Way to See a Lot - Driver knew a lot of history. Asked riders to be quiet so everyone could hear him. We bought a 2 day pass. We rode the whole way and decided where to hop on and off the next day. Hard to see some buildings since roof got in the way. Not air conditioned. Open windows.

Seeing the sights - Just finished a US holiday that took in Washington, New York and Boston. Did the bus tours in all. Boston was the most expensive with less sights to see so not the best value for money. Live commentary was very good. Crafty was excellent and people didn’t want to hop off his trolly as he kept them all entertained.

Not worth your money - Had to wait multiple cycles to get on a trolly because they were full. Traffic was horrible so it took forever to travel a few blocks. Some of the tour guides were excellent, others had garbled speech and couldn’t understand them. Definitely not worth the money. Would have been better off to walk/uber

Concept seemed OK, but crowded buses, could not hear driver - Probably not the right choice for us. We only really visited 3 of the stops, the first one before boarding, one in the middle where we spent a lot of time, and the one at the end of the line. I don't think anyone could visit all stops and spend any time there. The buses were quite crowded, and you could only reboard if there was room. The people waiting to board rushed the bus as a mob and if you weren't quick enough (we were not) you had to wait for the next bus, so we spent a good bit of time waiting. (Suggestion: Have an organized queue at each stop to reboard.) The drivers went through a narrative, but we often could not hear him because of street and passenger noise. We had a one-day ticket, but I believe a one-time purchase should include unlimited time. We were in Boston for four days and would have visited more of the stops if this were the case.

No room for us! - We purchased 4 tickets for our family trip and we waited for several buses to come and every single one was full. We were unable to board and ended up getting a refund. They did not have enough buses to service the amount of tickets sold.

Bad Communication - No one in emails or texts from Viator did it tell us to be ready at 8:40. We were inside our hotel lobby waiting at 8:35. The driver said he texted me but I never saw it and his phone I never got. One my phone was on mute because we have been asked to turn our ringer off on other tours and two, I would not have answered because I thought it was spam. We missed our $400 tour!!! Driver could not wait for us to get to the next location. This is horrendous! It needs to be sent via Viator or email updates!!! No refund!!! Horrible.
