The Chobe Day Trip begins with a pick-up at 7:00 AM and departs around 7:30 AM from either Victoria Falls or Livingstone, heading to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Travelers from Livingstone will journey to the Kazungula Bridge and cross the river to Kasane. Those coming from Victoria Falls will be transported by vehicle to the Kazungula Border, the crossing point between Zimbabwe and Botswana, covering a distance of 80 km, where a Botswana Guide will greet them.
Once border formalities are completed, the first safari of the day begins with a 3-hour boat cruise along the Chobe River. This river section is renowned for its large elephant herds, which can be observed closely and safely from the boat. Hippos, crocodiles, and a rich variety of birdlife offer an exhilarating experience. It’s a wonderful way to spend the morning. Following the river safari, a 4-hour game drive awaits to amaze you.
