Chobe National Park - Experience a thrilling three-hour boat safari on the Chobe River, a four-hour game drive in Chobe National Park, and an unforgettable overnight camping adventure in the wilderness. Meals and refreshments, including lunch, dinner, and breakfast, are provided.
At 07:30, guests depart from Victoria Falls Hotel or Livingstone, heading to Chobe National Park. The journey takes about an hour, reaching the Botswana border around 08:30. Here, guests meet the Botswana guide, complete border formalities, and receive a briefing before proceeding to the Chobe River jetty.
At 09:30, guests board the boat for a three-hour game cruise into Chobe National Park. This river cruise is a trip highlight, offering close encounters with stunning birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous elephants and African buffaloes visiting the river. The cruise concludes at 12:30, followed by a delicious buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge (or a similar venue).
Guests have a chance for last-minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the park. An afternoon game drive follows, providing the best opportunity to observe Chobe’s large herbivores as they visit the river. The drive leads to the campsite just before sunset, where guests enjoy drinks around the campfire and dinner.
Day Two: - Guests wake up early to a hot cup of tea or coffee. After a quick continental breakfast, the camp is packed up, and the final game drive begins. This time of day is ideal for spotting big cats and other nocturnal animals, which are still active and hunting. With some luck, guests might witness them with their previous night’s kills as the drive heads towards the exit gate. Guests are dropped off at the Zimbabwe or Zambia border by 09:00 and return to Victoria Falls or Livingstone by approximately 10:00.
