Boumalne Dades - The journey from Marrakech to Fes on the Morocco Desert Trip begins at 07:30 AM, departing from your hotel or riad towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou via the Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Several stops will be made along the route. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which has also been a filming location for numerous Hollywood films.

The trip continues to Ouarzazate for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, travel to the Skoura oasis and explore one of Morocco’s best-preserved Kasbahs: Amridil. The journey proceeds to Kalaa Mgrouna through the Valley of the Roses before arriving at a boutique guest house in Dades Valley.

DADES VALLEY – TINGHIR – MERZOUGA – SAHARA DESERT

Merzouga - After breakfast, today’s adventure begins by traveling along the road of 1001 Kasbahs to the Tinghir oasis. Enjoy the stunning views of the remnants of fortified villages that once hosted caravan routes until the early 20th century.

Upon reaching Tinghir, a former military post during the French occupation, take a detour onto a secondary road leading to the oasis. Feel free to stroll alongside the stream and observe locals tending to their farms and livestock. The walk concludes at one of the tour’s most breathtaking sights: Todgha Gorges.

After a leisurely lunch at a local café, the journey continues to Rissani, one of Morocco’s holiest towns, as the current ruling dynasty, the Alaouites, originated here, with its founder buried locally. Rissani is also renowned as a starting point for ancient caravan routes crossing the Sahara Desert to Timbuktu.

In the mid-afternoon, traverse rocky terrain to Merzouga, where a camel caravan awaits. Enjoy a camel ride over the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a spectacular sunset before returning to the Sahara Desert camp.

Savor dinner under the stars, entertained by local nomad hosts playing drums throughout the night.

MERZOUGA – Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Marrakech - Start the day with a breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by a traditional Berber breakfast at the desert camp. The return journey to Marrakech begins.
