Highlights

Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura Oasis – Rose Valley – Boumaln Dades:

Dades Gorges - Begin the day with an early morning pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation, embarking on a journey away from the city’s hustle. Travel through the Tizi N’ Tishka Pass at an altitude of 2260m, nestled in the High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views. The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ksar Kasbah Ait-Benhaddou, located 20km before Ouarzazate city. This Kasbah is renowned as a backdrop for numerous international films and series. After enjoying lunch near the Kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert and Morocco’s cinema capital, featuring many film studios open for public visits. Proceed along the road of a thousand Kasbahs to Skoura Oasis and the famous Amridil Kasbah, dating back to the 17th century, which can be visited if desired.

Next, head to the city of roses, Kalaat Mgouna, or the Rose Valley, filled with Damask rose trees along the Imgon Valley. Conclude the day in the Dades Gorges, a landscape affectionately known as the country of figs.

Dades Valley - Todgha Gorges- Tinjdad - Arfoud - Merzouga:

Erg Chebbi - Awaken to the sound of birds in the heart of Dades Valley and enjoy breakfast before continuing the journey to Tinghir, home to a 2000-year-old Jewish quarter (Mellah). Travel through the Todgha Gorges via Todgha Oasis to reach the 300m canyons before lunch, then proceed to the highlight of the Morocco tour, the Erg-Echaabi golden dunes, where the night will be spent in a hotel beside the sand dunes.

Overnight in a hotel on the dune lines, Merzouga.

Merzouga – Desert/Sahara Excursion:

Erg Chebbi - Today promises a special experience. Begin with a pick-up from the hotel on the dune lines for a Sahara excursion day. Visit fossil sites where you can dig for your own fossils, explore the unique Erg Echaabi golden sand dunes, and meet nomadic families living on the other side of the dunes, experiencing their traditional lifestyle. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the desert before having lunch at a local restaurant near the dunes.

After lunch, if interested in desert activities such as ATV quad biking, sandboarding, or desert trekking, arrangements can be made to enhance the desert experience.

Conclude the day with a camel ride to the desert camp within the dunes.

Overnight in a desert camp, Merzouga.

Merzouga – Errachidia – Medelt – Azrou – Ifran – Fes:

Fes el-Bali - For sunrise enthusiasts, witness a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes, then choose between a camel or 4x4 vehicle to return to the dune lines. An early departure from the desert is advised to reach Fes promptly.

Reunite at the hotel on the dune lines and begin the day by leaving Erg-Echaabi, traveling through the Ziz Oasis for picturesque photos, and passing through Errachidia City with its large blue water dam. Cross the Ziz Mountains to reach Medelt, the city of apples, for lunch.

Continue to the Azrou cedar forest to see wild Barbary macaque monkeys, then drive to the charming city of Ifran for a brief stop before arriving in Morocco’s oldest city, Fes.

Overnight in Fes.

Fes Guided Visit with an Official Local Guide:

Fes el-Bali - Enjoy a full-day guided tour, meeting the guide after breakfast to explore the old city (Old Medina), Koranic Schools, Karaouiyine University, Nejjarine Fountains, tanneries, and all Fes Medina crafts.

Overnight in Fes.

Fes – Meknes - Volubilis – Rif Mountains - Chefchaouen:

Chefchaouen Medina - After breakfast, depart Fes for Meknes, visiting the famous Bab Mansour gate, Sehrij Esouani, and other landmarks.

After lunch, travel through the Zerhoun Mountains to reach Volubilis, a Roman UNESCO historical site.

Proceed to Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue city nestled in the Rif Mountains.

Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen at Leisure - Casablanca

Chefchaouen Medina - Spend some leisure time in the Blue City before departing Chefchaouen.

When ready, return to Fes and be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport.

MOROCCO DESERT LUXURY TOUR - We had an incredible night in the desert! The tents were spacious, brand new, and spotless. The bed and linens were cozy and kept us warm through the chilly desert evening. They even provided slippers and a djellaba for extra comfort. The staff was exceptional, always attentive and kind. Our sunset camel trek was magical—exactly what we’d hoped for. Amed, the owner, was laid-back, friendly, and full of fascinating knowledge about the area. The Riad we stayed at in the Dades Gorges was simply outstanding. Anwar, our driver and guide, truly made our trip unforgettable. He was incredibly flexible, personable, and had a deep understanding of his country and all the places we explored.

Trip of a lifetime! - Where do I begin? After some research, we finally decided to book a 7-day trip to Morocco last month with Escorted Morocco Tours, and oh my goodness, it was an absolute dream! Thanks to Mustafa from Escorted Tours and customizing our tour, we felt ready to embark on this adventure. The tour included a private driver, private city guides, breakfast, accommodations, and fantastic Riads. Our driver, Said, was outstanding and picked us up in a 4WD and drove us from Marrakech to Casablanca and everywhere in between! After spending so many days on the road, it was like riding with a friend; Said was courteous and pleasant, sharing aspects about the Berber culture and entertaining us with some great desert blues music. Some of our highlights were the Merzouga Desert with stunning dunes and beautiful camels, trekking us across the desert to the tallest point to watch the breathtaking sunset! The Todgha Gorges, a 300m high mesmerizing canyon, and one of my memorable spots was the petite fossil museum in the small town of Rissani, where we were greeted like old friends by a humble and enthusiastic caretaker who was happy to share his knowledge and fossil-finding skills. It got me rethinking the meaning of a happy and gratifying job; he had been doing this since he was a teenager. Other fascinating places were the Medina souks, the Kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou, the High Atlas Mountains, Ifran, Rabat, and the Great Mosque of Hassan II. Every single place had its own magic, and I have to say, it was worth every penny! Last but not least, the food was terrific! If you're on the fence about Morocco, don't think twice—go! Morocco stole my heart. When we go back, we will book with Escorted Morocco Tours again!

Magical Morocco - We had an absolutely extraordinary travel experience. The high level of professionalism, education, sensitivity and discretion made this short trip as a couple to discover a country rich in culture, colours, flavors and scents, a real gift. All the staff contributed to making our experience special, starting from our extraordinary personal guide-driver, continuing with the knowledgeable guides who showed us the charm and secrets of the imperial cities visited, not least the welcoming Riads that collaborate with your accommodation facility made us feel in a comfortable, familiar and serene environment, in short we felt less like tourists even if only for a week and this for us was a great value. I like to underline a detail that gives a good idea of the attention that this operator pays to its travellers, namely that, during the excursion in the Merzouga desert, which also included a camel ride and a night in the Berber camp, our splendid driver-guide, having learned that my wife was celebrating her birthday that very day, managed to surprise her by celebrating her by candlelight in the desert with a birthday cake accompanied by Berber musicians singing happy birthday. I'm still wondering how he managed to find a birthday cake in the desert.Therefore, I can only highly recommend this operator.

Marvellous Morocco tour - The team at Escorted Morocco Tours were fantastic from the beginning. Customising our tour for three women was easy for the EMT team especially with Mustafa. They also provided excellent accommodation options when we added an extra night at the start and end of our tour. From the pick up on day one with our guide Said, we felt completely at ease and safe with him and his driving on the Moroccan roads with the geographical distances between the cities. Said made our short time in Morocco the best experience possible. He was passionate about immersing us with the culture, history and the people of Morocco. Said also tailored activities, viewpoints and visits to various, credible stores throughout the tour to our preferences and interests which was a really nice touch. A good guide can show you places and things however an exceptional guide enhances your experience those places fully. Our accommodation was luxurious especially at Dar Blues in the Dades Gorge and overnight Sahara desert camp at Tiziri camp. All of our meals showcased the amazing cuisine of Morocco with no stomach issues at all. Said provided excellent dinner recommendations in the bigger cities. The local city guide in Fes took us on an amazing tour showcasing the local artists and trades of Fes. Highlights were the pottery store artnaji and the tannery. If you want to experience Morocco, it’s people, the landscape and culture, you’ll be great hands with the team of EMT. There is so much more of Morocco to see and I’d definitely book with EMT again!We

Amazing - Since the first contact requesting a quote, Mustapha was very attentive and detail-oriented in his responses. The trip was Fabulous!!! Beautiful places, excellent riads, everything very well organized. I can't imagine a better trip!! Mustapha taught us a lot, being very helpful, respectful, considerate and funny. We started the trip with a guide and ended it with a Moroccan friend!! Thank you!! :)

Top destination Morocco !! - We were greeted by our friendly driver, Anouar at Marrakech Airport, and once we were settled in a comfortable car, we went for our tour adventure in Morocco. We were a small group of 4 friends and we bonded with Anouar as if he were part of our group. He was easy going, friendly, gentle, has a nice smile. He was the perfect driver/guide for us. I am glad we spent much time with him. He was always professional and we enjoyed learning about his country's culture and history. Driving in the cities seems stressful. Anouar handled all of this with ease. I dont always feel safe when other people are driving. Anouar was a good driver, he was not impatient or aggressive. It was very comfortable trip and you could tell Anouar was comfortable in the vehicle and made our trip fun and knew a lot about the history of each place we were at. Thank you Oufouta Tours team for such a great experience and many thanks to Anouar for his great work in making our tour in Morocco so memorable.

First class experience - I wish I had more stars to give you! what a fantastic experience we had. At first we had no idea what to expect for accommodations, being unfamiliar with Riads and Dars, but they were all gorgeous, clean and the staff were all wonderful people. Ismail, our guide, was FANTASTIC, which meant a great deal, as you can imagine for all of those days being in the car with him for so many hours. Both of the walking guides for the 2 days that we did walking tours were so knowledgeable and friendly. We have already recommended this company to everyone. From someone who experienced worked booking tours, I can tell you that this was 1st class!

A beautiful country - Morocco is a beautiful country with a fascinating culture and heritage - we did 7 days tour in morocco starting from Casablanca via the Sahara desert and Our tourguide, Mohamed, was very instrumental in bringing these facts to live and his love and passion for his country and their people made us see the country through his eyes, which made it a very special experience and adventure.
